We are a family of three with Mom, Dad and our sweet 15-month-old son. He is a gentle little soul who loves dogs and exploring nature. We also share our home with a lovable and well-trained beagle who adores snuggles. As a family, we are happiest outdoors, spending our time hiking, biking, camping and enjoying all that nature has to offer.

You’ll experience the Canadian outdoors with plenty of opportunities to join us for family hikes, camping trips, and exploring local trails and lakes, etc. We love cooking and would be happy to share occasional family meals and favorite recipes, while also learning about your culture, language, and traditions. We’re easygoing and enjoy meaningful conversations, so there’s always a chance to exchange stories, ideas, and perspectives.

Looking for a warm, responsible helper to join our little family this Sept/Oct! We need a caring hand with our sweet 18-month-old and light house/yard chores in exchange for a private 2-bedroom suite (own kitchen & bath) and basic groceries. Stay 4–6 months, enjoy nature, and become part of our family life.

Accommodation
You will have a private, fully furnished two-bedroom suite with your own kitchen, bathroom, and living area. The suite is bright, comfortable, and equipped with everything you need for a long stay, including high-speed internet and all utilities. It offers a quiet, private space where you can relax after helping our little one and household tasks. Basic groceries are included, and we’re happy to accommodate some personal preferences.
We provide a selection of basic groceries for you to prepare your own breakfast and lunch in your private kitchen. This includes milk, eggs, oatmeal, bread, cold cuts, fresh fruit, vegetables, rice, pasta, and pantry staples. In the evenings, we typically cook a family dinner such as pasta, stir-fry, BBQ, or other home-cooked meals, and you are welcome to join us. If you have dietary preferences, we can discuss them and do our best to accommodate. Your private suite has a fully equipped kitchen, so you’ll have everything you need to prepare your own meals.

Our home is just a 5-minute bike ride from downtown Revelstoke, with many amenities close by. We have an extra bike available for our guests, and there is a regular bus service to take you downtown if needed. We live in a safe and quiet area surrounded by nature, with easy access to hiking and biking trails. We are respectful, friendly, and easygoing and hope to find someone who enjoys both family time and their own independence. A couple is preferred, and non-smokers are ideal.
