    Description

    Hello everyone,

We are Filippo and Alice, both 35 years old, and we run a small eco-village in a beautiful, fairly isolated villa surrounded by chestnut woods, with panoramic views in Valsesia, in Cellio con Breia (VC).

The house has four private rooms, and we usually like to have four people living here. There are always plenty of visitors (we love meeting new people), but right now we are looking for more stable, long-term residents, as we are working toward a future vision and long-term life project.

We plan to move to Tuscany to create a community of people interested in entrepreneurship or in building a meaningful life in collaboration with us. The goal is to acquire a large borgo or villa with extensive land, and develop a variety of economic activities such as spiritual retreats, vegetable gardens, woodworking, olive oil production, carpentry, and stables for horses, pigs, and other animals. The possibilities are endless. We are looking for collaborators, investors, and business partners with big visions, ambitious plans, and a desire to live in an amazing place surrounded by nature, enjoying homegrown food and good company in community. If you are interested, or know someone who might be, please share our contact.

For short stays, we mainly need people to help with house maintenance and work in the woods: chopping trees, preparing firewood for the winter, keeping the grass tidy, helping with the chicken coop and vegetable garden, building furniture and sculptures in the forest — a place where we love to spend time under the stars and around the fire. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who wants to share the joy of life with us.

We provide room and board. We require two hours of work in the morning and three hours in the afternoon, with two days off per week. We don’t aim to tire anyone out — the real goal is to share the work. We appreciate people who are autonomous, as we are not a production-focused community; work is simply a way to be part of our shared life.

For those interested in staying longer, the plan is eventually to participate in income-generating activities and share profits equally. We are looking for people aged 28 and above, willing to join the community and contribute to our big future plans.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of nationality or LGBTQ+ status. You’re welcome whether you want a short stay or a long one, although our current focus is on building a reliable and trustworthy team for long term plan.

We are curious and always exploring new things. Some of our main activities include tending the garden, raising a local breed of hens (Bionda Piemontese), and selling chicks and fertilized eggs. We also make preserves, jams, and wooden furniture, sometimes for sale.

Yes, we do slaughter and eat our chickens — they’re delicious! We know this may spark moral debates, but it is part of our lifestyle.

We brew craft beer using the all-grain method, make liqueurs, and eventually plan to distill spirits. We forage mushrooms — this area is great for porcini — and dry them for year-round use.

We also work on small home improvement projects to make our living space more beautiful: recently we’ve explored mosaics and mural painting, installed a new glass door for the fireplace, and plan to renovate the upstairs bathroom.

Alice is now hosting spiritual retreats, and we plan to build a yurt. If you have experience or want to help with this project, you are very welcome.

We do a lot of woodworking and restoration projects, including furniture building — sometimes incorporating welded metal elements, which result in true design pieces.

Our property includes 5,000 square meters of woodland, used for firewood, construction, and cozy fireplace gatherings. Part of the forest is still under development. We’re planning an outdoor wood-fired sauna and hot tub area.

We love board games and regularly host friends. Our daily life is busy and full of productive activities, mostly sustained by what we grow or make ourselves. It takes time and energy, but we love this lifestyle and are looking for someone eager to dive in and join us in many different activities.

The house was fully renovated last year and has all modern comforts: fast Starlink internet, solar panels, and a heat pump for heating. There’s a wood-fired oven for pizza, and a nearby river for summer swimming. It’s peaceful, non-touristy, and surrounded by nature.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We have a wide range of skills.
I'm a music composer and I play many different instruments.
We grow our own vegetables and raise chickens — we hatch chicks from fertilized eggs and take care of them ourselves.
We’re very good cooks, and we love the idea of sharing food and cooking experiences with others.
Another strong point is our craft beer — we make it really well, using fresh spring water, and we always have plenty of it.

  • Help

    Help

in general, we need a hand with cooking, keeping the house tidy, working in the garden and the vegetable patch — but honestly, we do so many different things that it’s hard to say exactly what we’ll be doing.
That’s also because we like to share and involve everyone, so we often end up doing whatever the people who come here are most excited about.
We brew craft beer, do creative projects or furniture, we’re always experimenting with different culinary projects, and we take care of the vegetable garden and the chickens.
