Description
I am Hussein Hamd, a Bedouin born and raised in the desert of Wadi Rum, I have a 20 tent camp about 10 min south of the Wadi Rum Village and we welcome all volunteer to join our camp.
Our camp is situated inside Wadi Rum’s Protected Area, only 6 km from the Wadi Rum Village and surrounded by magnificent sandstone formations. This is the land where Lawrence Arabia once fought with Bedouins, against the Ottoman Empire. You can walk around and let your imagination run free, or simply find yourselves the perfect panorama view.
Besides offering accommodation for our guests we also offer, Desert Safari tour, Camel Rides and hiking tours, Rock climbing and hot air balloon. You may join some of them time to time.Types of help and learning opportunities

The volunteer will have the opportunity to learn about history of the Wadi Rum Desert, learn about Jordan history and Arabic Language if they like to.
Plenty of opportunity to see the amazing sunrise and sunset on the desert and have a full experience in live with the Bedouin of JordanHelp
We are looking for all kind of help, the work can be different each time of the year. But I will need help with Social media, website, organizing the place, taking pictures and making videos, cleaning, repair and helping guest with they needs.

We served a community full breakfast buffet between 7 - 8 am and community dinner buffet.
We are on the middle of the desert with limited access to the near mini market, but you can get organized and get anything you need from there and use our kitchen when need, as far you dont interfere with the chef scheduleWhat else ...
We often go to the village and offer ride as needed.
In case you plan to buy anything, please note that Wadi Rum does not have ATM, so be organized with your money.
