It was my first time doing this kind of experience and the hosts made it so easy. Sereina and Jereon are two precious humans that want to share great moments in community. During the whole 1 1/2 months that I was on the boat, they were so generous. This experience was a great balance between hard work and fun like parties or day trips to beaches.

I quickly felt as if it was partly my project too, I felt heard and it became like a little family. The conditions were great! I got to work around 5 hours a day for 5 days/week and we made big groceries like a family. I never missed anything being there:) If you love hard manual work, fun times and sens of community, it is the project for you! Thank you for everything and we will see each other again on the water🫶
Gabrielle stayed with us for 1.5 months, the longest we every had someone, and we had such a wonderful time together! During this time, we really grew into a kind of family. When you live together in a small space, you get to know each other very well — and we truly did. We were all very sad when it was time to say goodbye... Gabrielle is an

She didn’t come with specific building skills, but she was so eager to learn! We would absolutely recommend Gabrielle to everyone!
Beyond that, Gabrielle is just always up for anything — whether it's an adventure or a party. She’s so easy to be around and makes you feel good and completely yourself.
Thank you, Gabrielle. We miss you a lot and are so grateful for the wonderful time we shared and all that you contributed to the boat project. See you again when we’re back on the water!

Life-changing.
If I could resume my experience with Seraina, Jeroen and all the amazing people I had the opportunity to meet, that would definitely be it. I'm used to sail, but I've never been part of any boat refit, so for me it was exactly what I was looking for! Actually it was way better than that: I've traveled to Portugal expecting to get

Thamires stayed with us on the boat for 4 weeks! :) She works as a pilot on a big pipeline boat and decided to spend her 4 weeks off on our boat — which already shows how curious and open she is to discovering new places, meeting new people, and learning new skills. It makes us so happy to know you’ll be back on the boat again in July. It also shows us how much you enjoyed your time here and that we've created a space people want to return to. Stay just as you are, and keep living your dreams. Forever part of the family! <3

I highly recommend volunteering with Seraina and Jeroen. They are amazing, they were always thinking about making sure that I and the other workawayers felt comfortable and that we didn't lack anything. If you like adventure, it's definitely a good option. She loves to have harmony and wants to make everything that everyone feels comfortable and good. Such an incredible personality. We hope that she always gets the same back as she spreads everywhere around <3
Thank you for everything dear Vir and we will see you again on thte boat on the water! Muchas gracias, nuestro amor!

Sabrina was the last workawayer that joined the tribe for this period on the boat and she was just the perfect fit in that already existing group. We loved to have you here and we hope we will see you on the boat again when we are sailing! <3 Thank you for everything!

WOW, where should we start? Anna has been our first Workawayer and we couldn't have imagined it better! She stayed with us on the Boat almost 4 weeks and we had such an amazing time together. In the first 1.5 weeks she was alone with us and afterwards 3 other workawayers came. The personality of Anna is incredible and we are so happy to call her
… read more our friend for life now. We are sure we will keep the contact and we miss her already so much. Anna is very warmhearted, interested, motivated, active, helpful, thoughtful, honest, respectful and many more... She loves to have her projects and she gets really in a flow and in a wish to finish it. And she can be proud! She does everything so thoughtful and with a lot of care but also fast and good! She is very interested to learn new things about sailing or the building but also to explore with us how things work because we are in the beginning of this boat life as well ;) After a few days we had the feeling we already know her for a long time. She was truly herself and we had so much fun playing around at the beach and being childish and crazy. But we also had really deep and serious conversations about the World or ourselves ... Anna loved the work with different and exciting projects everyday here on the boat so much that we sometimes needed to send her almost to some free time ;) It was for us so nice to see that she liked it here. Anna also loved to cook and bake which was really nice!
She is a person that you can live just greatly together with because she is so easygoing, empathetic, honest and respectful! She sends out so much love and we wish for her future that she gets the same love back. Everyone that will have Anna as a workawayer can call themselves lucky because she's the best and she will leave as a friend you'll never forget! <3 Thank you from the bottom of our heart for everything dear Anna! See you when the boat is in the water and we can do some sailing, yeah! xxLend a hand at our little paradise, a beautiful piece of land in the lower Alentejo region, Portugal
