Description
Hello everyone, I have a plot of land measuring about 2,000 square meters that I struggle to maintain alone. The brambles take advantage of my weakness and grow a little more each year. I love gardening, but I can't seem to manage them and enjoy a beautiful plot of land where I can relax. As soon as a friend comes to help me, I'm doubly motivated. With two or more people, it's much easier and very nice.
I live in the countryside, 1 km from the town, in a commune of 2,000 inhabitants.
My garden grows flowers, vegetables, and fruit trees. I don't use any chemicals ; I spread all my organic waste directly on the flowerbeds or at the base of the trees. A stream runs at the bottom of the garden : that's why my hamlet is called "Stank Vihan", it means a place where runs water.
The current priority in my garden is to cut back the brambles and pull them out (with a scythe or brush cutter). I'll do it with you, of course (it's easier than it looks !). Oak and chestnut trees have begun to grow over a large part of the land, which will become a lovely grove.
For years, I've been hosting travelers via other platforms or all. And I also travel thanks to this accommodation website for cyclists.
I love making crêpes ! I'm a huge locavore ! And vegetarian.
My house is 100 years old and was renovated in the traditional way with lime-hemp insulation. I don't have a bathroom. The dry toilets are outside. I simply have a shower stall in a private room and a sink in the main room. And a solar shower outside. I have a lovely cat.
I'm passionate about local culture (singing and dancing heritage, traditional costumes, etc.)
I look forward to welcoming you soon !

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Brittany is a culturally rich land, and I grew up in this land. Breton song and dance are what inspire me the most ("fest-noz"), the surrounding nature, the mystery of the megaliths... I'd be happy to introduce you to the local cultural heritage (dance, singing, megaliths, museums, the surrounding nature, Monts d'Arrée, Karrek an Tan, Huelgoat, Castle and garden of Trevarez...) and take you to a fest-noz, if you don't make it to the one I organize in my house once a year in September.

Help
Gardening and to cut and pull out brambles. I will do it with you of course. I promise it's easier than it looks !

Accommodation
You will sleep in a room where there is a 2 places bed at the 2nd floor.
I have no bathroom, but a shower in my bedroom.
There's a sink in the living room. The composting toilet is outside. There's a solar shower outside.
I make pancakes at least once a week. My house is a vegetarian home (except for the cat!) I will feed you local and organic food.
I have a very simple life, with only primitive needs...
What else ...
I live 1 km from the town, which has a convenience store, post office, pharmacy, and a bicycle and car service. I order my bread and all my food from an organic producers' group.
8 km away, in Châteauneuf-du-Faou, there's a bus that serves the entire department.
Au plaisir de vous rencontrer ! 👩🌾🐱🐞🦋🌻🌼🐦
