We are an eco dive resort in a very remote island in Central Sulawesi. Our island Una Una is part of the Togean islands. This beautiful volcanic island has a great soil to work with when growing different plants and veggies in our garden.
As we are a dive resort we are looking for people who are also interested about the underwater world. You don’t need to be a diver yet as we can teach you the magic for you to become a part of our diving family. There are also other activities on the island such as volcano trekking, jungle adventures with our local guide, snorkeling, jewelry classes and you can also learn how to cook the local food in our cooking class! All these activities we offer discounted prices for the volunteers.
About our projects in our resort, we have an organic garden that we need help with, as well as cleaning work, any kind of maintenance around the resort, dive centre operations, social media marketing, and anything imaginable we need help with in a dive resort. We take volunteer’s special skills in use and are happy to teach new ones also. In the future we are going to host a coral planting course for divers and we are working together with Ocean Quest and Sea shepherds.
We are a good team of locals and few foreigners from Finland and France. The place is owned half Indonesian and half Finnish.
We have 8 paid local staff, their jobs are guiding the dives, cleaning lady, kitchen staff, gardener, maintenance staff and captains for our dive boats.
Our resort is home to many many cats, chicks and chickens, a rooster as well as a dog. So if you are an animal lover you will have a great time playing with our pets. In the future we are getting goats and ducks to our property also.

You can learn about gardening, how to build decoration and furniture from recycled and natural materials what we can find here on the island. You can also join different projects that we run and learn about sustainability and conservation. Most of all as we are a dive centre you can learn about the amazing marine life here and enhance your dive skills as we offer discount prices for the volunteers on our courses and dives. We are very excited about the underwater world and love to share our knowledge.
We have a big organic garden that we always need some extra help with as we grow our organic food to the resort.
You can also help us with different maintenance work in the resort such as painting, building and fixing things around. We are building most of our own furniture so you could also help us to make some tables, chairs and decorations for example.
Skills with social media marketing, photographing and arts are also very welcome here.

Accommodation that we offer for travellers is basic rooms with double bed, mosquito net, and a fan. Shared toilet/showers are very close to the rooms. The accommodation includes 3 meals (per day), hot drinks and drinking water in our resort.
We have amazing coral reefs around the island so you can go snorkelling and join diving on your free time. These we offer discounts for our volunteers.
You can also visit Una Una village. The village is around 20min walk from the resort. As the road is very tricky it is easiest to move around by walking. Each Friday there is a football match in the town where you can join and play with the locals.
We have two treks to the Volcanos that take a half a day to visit each. If you wish to trek both of the volcanos at the same day, this will be a full day trip.
We also organise jungle trekking trips where you can learn about different plants and eatable veggies and fruits in the jungle. The trek include a picnic in the jungle and you can fresh yourself up with a coconut.
In our resort you can also learn to cook the local food in our cooking class or make a jewellery out of the coconut shells in our jewellery making class.
