Description
We have been reforming a 55 year old lodge from which we run a coffee roastery café with relaxing outdoor and indoor spaces for visitors of all ages to enjoy. As of spring 2023 we have now commenced providing affordable guest house accommodation services catering to a range of people from school groups, to families, company events and those seeking to enjoy the amazing experiences available in the immediate area . We are located in a picturesque valley in the mountains of northern Gunma with numerous clean mountain rivers nearby, great hiking and outdoor adventure activities aplenty (skiing, boarding, rafting, swimming, biking, kayaking, canyoning etc.). The working style is flexible with plenty of time available to enjoy the area and the many great things it has to offer including outdoor activities, small farms, onsens, local foods, temples and much more!

Help
Ideally we are seeking Workawayers who are able to bake, you do not need to be professional level or even have professional experience, just a passion for baking. We like to change what we serve our customers as often as possible with different pastries, cakes, tortes, pies, cookies, scones or tarts etc., from around the world. If you have some specialties that you love to bake and would like to introduce your treats to Japan then our project could be a match for you! Additionally, you will be possibly required to contribute to cleaning and other guest related duties. We are also at times interested in Workawayers with building / carpentry or woodworking skills as we often have some interesting projects such a building a natural playground, treehouses and more underway.
