Come and join Selma and Chris at our lovely 6 bedroomed guest house!
We live 8 miles from Whitby, which is on the coast, and about 40 miles from the ancient city of York.
We live right behind the famous North York Moors steam railway and we are on the Coast to Coast Wainwright walkers route from St. Bees to Robin Hoods Bay.
We are looking for volunteers for a minimum of 4 weeks, and up to 7 months.
Chris broke his back in November 2012, and is now paraplegic and gets around in a wheelchair, so we both need help to manage everything that needs doing.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Help in the house
We have a lot of experience in helping foreign volunteers to improve their pronunciation and spoken English.
Our vision is that of community and connection; when we matter to each other we make the world a safer and stronger place...
Our ideal volunteers are physically fit, and ready to tackle whatever needs doing, and able to help without supervision.
This host offers accommodation and payment.
We need help with breakfast service, washing up, cleaning rooms, a bit of gardening, grass cutting and weeding mainly.
