    Description

We are about to be a family of 6 in the Spring. We live in South West England in the Cotswolds in a beautiful old farmhouse in a village surrounded by lovely countryside. We have an en suite double bedroom for a lovely workaway to join in our family fun. Looking for someone friendly and capable to be an extra pair of hands around the house. We have kids who are 11, 9, 2 and a new addition arriving April 2026!

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We are open, warm and welcoming, and make a huge effort to integrate workaway's into our lives. We are happy to teach English to anyone that would like to improve! We share meals all together, and love having interesting conversations at dinner time. We hope to learn lots about different cultures, my children are especially fascinated by different countries, cultures, food and languages from around the world.

  • Help

    Help

Workawayers could help us by being an extra support around the house, helping with the cooking if you enjoy cooking. Tidying toys and general practical house help. We have a baby arriving in April and would love someone warm, friendly and fun loving to join in our family chaos. We will comply with au pair regulations and offer minimum wage. If you can drive that is a bonus as we live in the countryside, you would have use of a bicycle and we have an electric bike.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

In an ensuite double bedroom at the top of the house.

We love cooking and sharing big family meals. We'd love our workawayer to be part of our family meals, breakfast, lunch and dinners, occasionally helping with the cooking if you enjoy it! We always have a well stocked fridge that would be shared with the workawayer.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

We would provide a bicycle for our workaway to use, there are buses to other local villages. Driving license could be a real bonus as we are in middle of countryside! Walking / cycling distance to a tiny village with a village shop and pub - but for other larger towns you need to get a bus or drive. During time off there are plenty of amazing places to explore nearby, cotswold market towns like Cirencester, Tetbury and Malmesbury, as well as larger cities like Bath and Bristol. We have Kemble train station 10 mins drive from the house and it takes 1.15 hours to get to London.
