We are looking for help developing an intentional community, permaculture gardens and micro businesses on land we now have in North Panama. We are hoping to attract a diaspora of interesting and beautiful folk who wish to live, learn and thrive together in the tropics. Always looking for help and people who want to join the vision and tribe!

Learning how to live with a minimal ecological imprint, learning how to design with permaculture, learning about tropical plants and gardening, exploring Bocas del Toro and its beaches are some of the things you may find interesting.
Lots of different work could be undertaken...we are in the middle of renovating the base camp, of planting and transplanting the food forest and will undertake a permaculture plan soon. There is always food transformation and the development of microbusinesses. If you have a skill you would like to share we could probably use it!

A room, private if we have availability... at our base camp house. One can also choose to make some place to camp especially if you want to stay long term and experience the rural and tropical forests. We have the land!
Sometimes we will have communal meals ... mostly in the evening and it depends on the people, the work and the dynamics. The rest of the day you would be responsible for making your own meals. Access to food staples such as rice, beans, flour and oils and what ever we are able to gather is available to volunteers. Everything else will be BYO or at cost.
There is a bus that comes by about every 1/2 hour in the day time. We are 23 minutes away from the town of Bocas.
Write now we are on a small solar system and practicing humanure composting although we also do have a flush toilet at the base camp.
Also, there is no cell phone reception or internet at our place for the time being.
Limited internet access
We have pets
We are smokers
Can host families
At this time we do not have internet access - only in town which is 25 minutes away drive or 40 minutes by cycle. If you need to work online while here I would not recommend it.
