  Description

  I live in a peaceful countryside home in Burgenland, Austria, surrounded by a large garden, old grapevines, fruit trees and plenty of outdoor space.
  I enjoy art, music, travel, gardening and meeting people from different cultures. I would be happy to welcome kind, independent and responsible people who enjoy sharing everyday life in a relaxed and respectful atmosphere.
  Help in the garden is especially welcome, such as pruning, weeding, caring for plants, grapevines and fruit trees, and general garden maintenance. Help with cleaning, organising and keeping the house tidy is also appreciated.
  Musicians, painters and other creative people are very welcome too. I love art and music, and I would be delighted to share my home with people who bring creativity, inspiration and good energy.
  You do not need to be able to do everything. Just tell me what you are good at and what kind of help you enjoy giving.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  I enjoy meeting people from different countries and learning about different cultures.
  I can share Chinese culture, food, everyday life experiences and some knowledge about traditional Chinese medicine. I also enjoy art, music, literature, travel and gardening, so there are many things we can talk about and exchange.
  
  Workawayers are welcome to share their own culture, cooking, music, art and ideas with me. I hope we can learn from each other, spend some relaxed time together, and also explore the local area when possible.
  
  I would like this to be more than just an exchange of help for accommodation — I hope it can also be a warm and interesting cultural experience for both sides.

  Help

  We are looking for friendly and creative people who would enjoy helping with our large garden and home.
  
  Help may include gardening, pruning, planting, weeding, general garden maintenance, small outdoor projects and some light cleaning around the house.
  
  People with practical skills are especially welcome, but we also love creative people. Musicians, painters and artists are very welcome, and there may be opportunities to share your skills or help make the house and garden more beautiful.
  
  We hope to work together in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, share ideas, meals and cultural experiences, and make your stay enjoyable as well as useful. You do not need to be an expert — a positive attitude, independence and willingness to help are the most important things.

  I am a native Chinese speaker and I am happy to share Mandarin and Chinese culture. I would also enjoy practising German and English through everyday conversation. I am interested in learning a little from other languages and cultures too.

  Accommodation

  You will have your own private guest room, private bathroom and your own kitchen, so you can enjoy your own space and independence.
  
  We hope you will feel at home here, while also respecting the house and keeping your own space clean and tidy.

  What else ...

  Within walking distance of my home, there is a large golf course and a natural thermal spa. There are also many walking and cycling routes nearby. I have two bicycles that you are welcome to use to explore the surrounding countryside.
  We live in a peaceful rural area in Burgenland, Austria, surrounded by nature, vineyards and small villages. It is a lovely place for walking, cycling and enjoying a quiet countryside lifestyl
  
  Although I live in a rural area, Vienna is still quite accessible. My home is around 140 km from Vienna, and there is a bus connection to Vienna about an 8-minute drive from my house. When possible, I can also drive you to the bus stop or pick you up.
  Working hours
  You’ll help for five hours a day, five days a week, with two days off. We can agree on the work schedule and days off together in advance.
  
  Meals and cooking
  I provide all the ingredients for your meals, and you’ll have your own private kitchen to cook in. Please prepare your own breakfast and lunch. For dinner, we can cook and eat together, or you’re welcome to prepare and enjoy your meals independently. I’d like you to feel at home, with plenty of freedom and personal space.

  Well-behaved dogs may be accepted by prior agreement. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cats. Please contact us before bringing any pet.
