Hi,
My name is Antoine and I'm living with my girlfriend Perrine in a typical Girondine house 30km north of Bordeaux on the banks of the river Dordogne borded by vineyards.
The house is 20 minutes walking distance from the nearest village, St Gervais (where i'll happily drive you if needed), and a bus stop which will take you straight to the centre of Bordeaux. The region boasts some world famous vineyards, quaint villages nearby (Bourg, Blaye, St Emilion,...) and lovely countryside walks.
I am renovating the place in order to turn it into a holiday home and i am looking for up to 4 helpers (single, friends or couples) to help in the tasks that await us.

Je suis Antoine et vis avec ma copine Perrine dans une maison girondine typique à 30 km au nord de Bordeaux sur les rives de la Dordogne bordée de vignobles.
La maison est à 20 minutes à pied du village le plus proche, St Gervais (où je vous conduirais avec plaisir si besoin), et d'un arrêt de bus qui vous emmènera directement au centre de Bordeaux. La région possède des vignobles de renommée mondiale, des villages pittoresques à proximité (Bourg, Blaye, St Emilion, ...) et de belles promenades à la campagne.
Je rénove le lieu afin d'en faire une maison de vacances et recherche jusqu'à 4 personnes (célibataires, amis ou couples) pour m'aider dans les tâches qui nous attendent.

I'm fluent in English and French. Perrine speaks also German and a bit Spanish.
I can show you around the area and share good meals with either french or international food.
In exchange I expect 4 to 5 hours work a day 5 days a week (flexible hours). I am well travelled and always look forward to meeting people from different cultures.

Je suis bilingue en français et anglais. Perrine parle aussi allemand et un peu espagnol. Je serais heureux de vous montrer les environs ainsi que de partager des repas d'influence francaise ou étrangère.
En échange, j'attends 4 à 5 heures de travail par jour 5 jours par semaine (horaires flexibles). Je suis un grand voyageur et j'ai toujours hâte de rencontrer des gens de cultures différentes.
Help
The tasks will go from helping in dealing with the larger outside projects we will have : resurfacing the terrace around the pool (which you'll naturally be free to use) and landscaping the front section of the house. There will also be general renovation tasks to be carried out inside the main house as well as some housekeeping and some gardening.

Les tâches qui nous attendent : Les projets les plus importants en extérieur seront : refaire la terrasse autour de la piscine (que vous serez naturellement libre d'utiliser) et l'aménagement paysager de la devanture de la maison. Il y aura également des travaux de rénovation générale à effectuer à l'intérieur de la maison principale ainsi que du ménage et du jardinage.

Accommodation
Big country house with private bedrooms.
I offer 3 meals a day, private bedrooms. You will share all the amenities with me (bathroom, kitchen, living rooms). I have WiFi (though perhaps not the fastest). Unfortunately, i regret that i will NOT be able to cater for VEGANS.

Je vous propose 3 repas par jour,
chambres privées. Vous partagerez avec moi toutes les commodités (salle de bain, cuisine, salons). Le Wifi est dans la maison (pas le plus rapide).
Malheureusement, je regrette d'informer de NE PAS pouvoir accueillir de personnes VEGAN.

Nearest train station is Saint-André-de-Cubzac where i can come and collect you if you do not have your own vehicule.
La gare la plus proche est celle de Saint-André-de-Cubzac ou je pourrais venir vous chercher si vous n'avez pas votre propre véhicule.
