  Hi all, It´s Alejandra, from Monterrey City, Mexico.
  
  I lived in Barcelona in the nineties where I studied graphic design and travel around Europe. When I was back in México, I decided to know more about my country so I travel around Mexico ending up living in Xilitla, a little town in the Huasteca Potosina, for 18 years now.
  
  I'm specialized in permaculture and owned a lovely woodland where I am trying to develop an eco project. The house is made of 100% organic material and it has a "pasto" ceiling. The house is in a quite environment, surrounded by selva, rivers and waterfalls. The place can't be reached by car but there is public transport running 10 minutes walking from there.
  
  We offer accommodation in the middle of the "selva" and although the house is not completed yet, it is well equipped. There is a full operated eco-friendly toilet and the shower and kitchen are being built now.
  
  At the moment, we are looking for someone who have experience at organic vegetables planting. Also, I am open to receive eco-friendly ideas to be developed there.

  Hola a todos, soy Alejandra, de Monterrey, Mexico.
  
  Viví unos años en Barcelona en los noventa donde estudié diseño gráfico y viajé por Europa. A la vuelta, decidí conocer más acerca de mi país y viaje unos años hasta que me establecí en Xilitla, un pueblito en la Huasteca Potosina, hace 18 años.
  
  Soy especializada en permacultura y poseo un pedazo de terreno donde estoy tratando de desarrollar un proyecto ecológico. La casa está hecha con materiales orgánicos y techo de pasto. El lugar está en un lugar tranquilo, bien aislado y rodeado de selva, arroyos, cascadas y pozas. No se puede llegar a la casa en carro, los últimos 300 metros se hace caminando y a unos 10 minutos de la casa paran las camionetas que transportan hasta Xilitla.
  
  Ahora mismo ofrezco alojamiento en la casa. La casa está terminada y también una letrina seca. La ducha y la cocina se están terminando de construi. Busco a alguien con experiencia en cultivo de hortalizas. También estoy abierta a desarrollar cualquier idea ecológica que se pueda llevar a cabo allá.
  
  El lugar es perfecto para relajarse, caminar por la selva, explorar las cascadas, bañarse en las pozas y disfrutar de las estrellas.

  Xilitla es un pueblo mágico de la Huasteca Potosina. Su selva está repleta de arroyos y pozas donde uno puede pasear y bañarse. Hay mucha variedad de productos locales: frutas, verduras, hierbas... Los Domingos se hace un mercado en el pueblo con productos de la zona. La música es una tradición acá, todos los Domingos se organizan bailes de Huapango en la plaza del pueblo. Muy cerquita está el Jardín Surrealista de Edward James, uno de los parques surrealistas más importante del mundo.
  
  Xilitla is a magic village in the Huasteca Potosina. It´s environment is full of rivers and natural pools perfecto for walking and swimming. There are a huge amount of local products: fruta, vegetables, café, herbs... On Sunday, there is a market in the village with local products. Music is a tradition here and Sundays there are huapango music and dances in the square.   Help

  I am looking right now for someone who have experience at organic vegetables planting. There are few workers finishing the construction of the kitchen and shower so you will not be competed alone and the will help you to learn more about the area and its secrets. We are also open to receive eco-friendly ideas to develop in the house.
  
  Ahorita busco a alguien que cuide de los perros y de la casa. Hay unos trabajadores allá terminando de construir por lo que no estarás completamente solo y te ayudarán a ubicarte por la casa y los alrededores. Estoy también abierta a recibir ideas creativas sobre ecología para desarrollar en la casa.

  Ofrezco una habitación amplia con baño seco. En realidad, podrás disfrutar de toda la casa. La cocina está operativa con fogones y refrigerador por lo que te proporcionaré ingredientes para que puedas cocinar.

  Kitchen is operating (cooker and fridge), I will bring ingredients for you so you could cook and storage stuff as there is also a fridge.

  We are located in a subtropical rainforest in the Eastern slopes of the Sierra Gorda mountains of Mexico. We are 15 minutes away from Las Pozas an 80 acre garden with natural waterfalls and pools interlaced with towering Surrealist sculptures in concrete. There are also daily tours to Sotano de las Golondrinas and Tamul a breathtaking waterfall.
  Xilitla is a town rich in Huastecan culture and offers weekly cultural dancing and music. Xilitla is easy to get to by bus. There are daily buses from Mexico City, Monterrey and San Luis Potosi.
