  I live in the Basque Country with my children, surrounded by nature.
  
  A land rich in history, nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Pyrenees. You can discover, at your own pace, all the treasures and culture of the Basque Country.
  If you surf, the ocean is just 45 meters away, and if you ski, the ski resorts are a 2-hour drive.
  For other destinations, you can visit Bayonne, Biarritz, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, and even travel to Spain.
  At the crossroads of the Landes region, you'll also find Hossegor, just 45 meters away.
  We are curious about other countries and cultures and happy to share convivial moments and exchanges.
  If you have a car, you can explore the surrounding area.
  Rain is a frequent visitor to our region.
  
  But the Basque Country is beautiful even in the rain.

  Je vis au pays basque avec mes enfants, en pleine nature.
  Terre riche d histoires entre l'océan atlantique et les Pyrénées. Vous pourrez découvrir à votre rythme, toutes les richesses et la culture du pays basque.
  Si vous surfer c'est à 45 m de l'ocean et si vous skiez c est à 2 h des stations de skis.
  Pour le reste vous pouvez visiter Bayonne, Biarritz, St jean de Luz et même vous rendre en Espagne.
  Au carrefour des landes , vous avez Hossegor à 45m également.
  Nous sommes curieux d autres pays et cultures, heureux de partager des moments de convivialités et d'échanges.
  Si vous avez une voiture vous pourrez explorez les environs ,
  La pluie s invite souvent dans notre région.
  Mais le pays basque est beau sous la pluie aussi.

  I'm looking for a rich exchange, allowing a Workawayer to visit the Basque Country and discover a country, a language, and a rich culture, feeling welcomed and supported in sharing their discoveries. A visit to Bayonne, Espelette, perhaps the Pyrenees, and the southern Landes region, which is very close by, would be ideal.

  I offer a cozy room attached to the house, with all the necessary comforts for a one or two-week stay.
  
  A comfortable bed and a private bathroom.
  
  A small terrace.
  
  It's a non-smoking room, but if you do smoke, there's a designated outdoor smoking area.
  
  Meals are taken in the kitchen, where I hope you'll spend some time with us.

  Je propose une chambre chaleureuse attenante a la maison, avec tout le confort nécessaire pour passer une ou 2 semaines.
  Un lit confortable, avec sdb privative.
  Petite terrasse..
  C est une chambre non fumeur mais si vous fumez vous aves tout l exterieur pour cela.
  
  Les repas sont pris dans la cuisine ou j espère vous partagerez des temps avec nous.

  It is advisable to have your own vehicle as the nearest bus stop is 3.5 km away.
  
  From this stop you can travel towards Bayonne/Biarritz/Spain or towards the interior of the Basque Country, Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, etc.
