Description
Myself and my partner Kirk and our dog Illi run a rental hospitality property in Revelstoke, BC. We are looking for a couple who can assist in the cleaning and maintenance of the property/house while we have guests staying with us. We live a 3 minute drive from our local ski hill, Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) and a quick 10 minute drive into town. Revelstoke is located within the Monashee and Selkirk Mountains and is a town full of activities from mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, downhill skiing, ski touring, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing.
Outside of the activities Revelstoke has a deep community spirit with events, markets, and gatherings happening year round.

Revelstoke in the winter is a bustling ski/snowbard/cross country community. This is a great place to come for a winter season of learning to ski or snowboard, or if you enjoy outdoor winter activities this is the community for you!

Help
We are looking for a couple who will be able to assist in the cleaning and maintenance of our Property.
Cleaning includes:
-general cleaning post guest departure, laundry, vacuuming, cleaning the kitchen, cleaning the bathrooms, cleaning the common areas.
-Hot tub to be kept at consistent temperature and chemical levels balanced.
-BBQ checked and cleaned when needed
-Back deck swept/cleared when needed
Maintenance Includes:
-Lawn mowing in the summer
-Snow removal in the winter
-Maintenance to property as time and budget allows (painting, deep cleaning, repairs)
Accommodation will be provided alongside an hourly/daily wage dependant on how many guests are in the BnB and how many duties need to be done. An hourly wage of $19 per hour will be provided.

We provide a private suite downstairs of the house. This suite has a bedroom, second room with storage, desk, tv-this room acts as a living room. There is a bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet. Lastly there is a kitchenette with a toaster oven (can roast a chicken) , two unit heating element, and two mini fridges. As well in this space there is a kitchen table, sink, counter space, including all utensils needed to make meals, and a large washer and dryer units that can handle all the laundry from the property.
Money will be provided to allow for the purchase of breakfast meals.
What else ...
A vehicle is provided, but this use is intended for in town use only. Primarily used to gather purchases and supplies for the property. This vehicle cannot be taken on the highway.
Additionally there is a town bus service that has a pick up/ drop off location at the end of the street, this service goes to the ski hill or all stops throughout downtown Revelstoke.
We live next door to the property, we will be there to help with getting set up, understanding the home and the property, and will always be there to answer any questions or help along the way.

We have a spare room in the suite that is provided, this would be a great place to set up a desk and can act an an office room. Digital nomads are welcome as long as the guests and maintenance of the rental are treated as the priority.
Space for parking camper vans
Small campers can be accommodated, but not lived in. We have space in the backyard for parking, as long as parking spaces for guests are not being occupied.
Can possibly accept pets
Open to discussion regarding pet.

Illi is our Golden Retriever, she is 5 years old and a very special member of our little family. She loves playing fetch, helping out with tasks around the yard and going for walks!
