I had a wonderful time helping Maire, my stay lasted roughly a month but it felt like much, much more because we shared loads of beautiful moments. I helped take care of her lovely dog, Samh's, as she recovered after a surgery and did other tasks along the way, such as gardening and chopping ash as well as stocking it so that it would be ready for

Maire knows a lot about the local history and she went above and beyond to show me around the area and to share her knowledge of the place, the road trips will be sorely missed! Before starting this experience I had already spent more than half a year in Ireland and during this time I became quite attached to the country, but my stay at Maire's exceeded this to the extent that Waterford feels like a second home to me now.. I wish Maire the best and I hope to be back one day.You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

I had a wonderful time with Maire. She is a generous, kind-hearted woman who was also very patient with me when we practiced Irish together. She is accompanied by a very loving dog and a skittish cat that will warm up to you eventually. Maire showed me a bit of the area, and I had a fantastic time at the little pubs on Thursday nights. A bicycle

The location is beautiful and rural, which in turn makes WiFi limited and only available through Maire’s phone when used as a hotspot. Also if you are tall like me (196 cm), be prepared to bonk your head on a daily basis on low door frames.

Maire, a great lady and a beautiful spirit. I'm very thankful for the chance she give me to do my first workaway. I was a bit nervous at the beginning but she made me feel like at home. Did same small jobs in and out of the house, just regret there wore no more tools and I could have done much more. Just hope you liked my help and presence there
… read more as much as I loved being with you and your wonderful dog and cat. Good and funny adventures together we had. I'm very thankful for all, came as a stranger left with a sister. Hope to came back again. You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
