    Description

Welcome to our hidden gem! We have a large property tucked away in the Galician forest, half way up the mountain-- 5 minutes to Tomino, Spain by car, or a 30 minute peaceful walk to town. We have our own fresh, spring water well on the property and we have two separate cottages both equipped with bathrooms and kitchen, a campervan, and separate trailer caravan available. We also welcome your own vehicle/camper/partner/pets. We have 3 cats on the property and a Beligian Malinois dog who is very friendly and loves an all day session of fetch.

On the property now are two very friendly, middle aged adults in their 50's, originally from the US and Africa. We are slowly developing the property in partnership with a US Foundation providing crisis assistance and temporary housing to individuals and families. It has been a meaningful and slow journey, but now we definitely need helping hands to keep the project moving forward.

Wishing you a great experience wherever your journey takes you!
    Robyn & Petrus

We are a cheerful and Inclusive Home! All Nationalities and Identities Welcome. Our intention is that you feel most welcome to share the property as your own. We can provide family meals, and also access to the full kitchen to whip up something for yourself. We are very casual and relaxed here and often dinner is enjoyed outside "tapas style" with a "sundowner" or two.

We frequently go to Portugal to the beach and relax there or for a nice hike with the dog which you would be most welcome to join! If you don't have transportation, we will do our best to get you where you need to go and point out all of the lovely spots we enjoy. There is so much to enjoy here and incredibly budget friendly!

We have a lot of experience in land development, farming, construction, wildlife, education, gastronomy, and personal development. We look forward to sharing our expertise and experiences on site (the good, the bad, and the ugly!). Since we are working on a blank slate, we are open to new development ideas and look forward to your thoughts and refreshing contribution.

Most importantly, we have a great sense of humor and we hope you do too! As property development in rural Galicia isn't exactly easy day to day, we do believe that laughter is. Bienvenido!

Juno and Zorro are adopted strays that rarely sit long enough for a proper photograph. They are friendly and excellent hunters that keep the property mice, mole, and small snake free.
