Description
We are a couple ( 47 - 50 years old ) who recently acquired a beautiful iconic Spanish Art Nouveau house in Alicante Region that needs TLC. Looking for help with renovating it and with our veggie garden.

You will be living in and help us restore one of the most beautiful and iconic houses in the valley. The area is dotted with lovely villages, all with bars and restaurants. The nearest beach being only 20 mins drive away. You can practice Spanish with us, if you like.
Help
Hi Everybody! We need help restoring a beautiful Spanish Art Nouveau house! Although not essential, we are looking for people with some experience in building and / or renovating buildings. We also need help with tending our veggie garden. The property is located in a beautiful valley doted with villages in Alicante province, South East of Spain. Nearest beach is only 15 - 20 minutes drive away.
A bus stops in the village several times a day and can take you to bigger towns and other villages nearby. We can also offer transport if we're available.
Accommodation: we are converting the top floor of our house in a two bedroom apartment with independent access (see photos). Bedrooms and bathroom are already finished but living room / kitchen / diner is now being built. Cooking would be done in our living area on the first floor while the top floor is being renovated. We will offer accommodation and one vegetarian meal a day in exchange for 20 hours a week help with sanding and restoring doors, general building work and gardening.

Bus stop for transport stopping in nearby villages and towns is only a couple of minutes walk away. Biggest town with commercial centre is only 15 mins bus ride away. Plenty of trekking and bike riding - we can lend bikes, if needed.
