    Hello world,

    being wild nature lovers, we fulfilled our dream and bought some land on the "Isla bonita" La Palma/ Canary Islands.

    The house in the north west, close to the town Santo Domingo, literally at the end of the world. It is very "tranquillo" here and close to nature with a beautiful sunset every day. Its no place for party, nights out or socializing. :)

    Around you can hike in any direction: either to the hippie villages in the mountains or to the astonishing cliff beaches where the locals have their weekend caves.

    As Tom is there alone and we want to make Sure smooth communication, only German or Spanish speakers can be considered.

    als Naturliebhaber haben wir uns einen Traum erfüllt und ein Grundstück auf der „Isla Bonita“ La Palma (Kanarische Inseln) gekauft.

    Das Haus liegt im Nordwesten, nahe Santo Domingo, buchstäblich am Ende der Welt. Hier ist es sehr ruhig und naturnah, mit einem wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang jeden Tag. Es ist kein Ort für Partys, Ausgehen oder geselliges Beisammensein. :)

    In der Umgebung kann man in alle Richtungen wandern: entweder zu den Hippie-Dörfern in den Bergen oder zu den atemberaubenden Klippenstränden, wo die Einheimischen ihre Wochenendhöhlen haben.

    Da Tom alleine dort ist und wir eine reibungslose Kommunikation gewährleisten möchten, kommen nur deutsch- oder spanischsprachige Interessenten in Frage.

    You will get a lot DIY expertise from Thomas, as he is very well in woods, metal and stone works. Next to this, he knows every detail about the island.

    For Jan+Feb26:
    We are looking for long-term guests for January and February to help us lovingly care for our three-year-old son. This would involve spending time together, playing, dancing, exploring, and providing light help with household tasks such as preparing his meals and snacks.

    Generally:
    Depending if we are here or not, we look for people that help with small DIY projects and look after our house...We are looking for light painting help of walls and Woods ...as well as the garden that needs steady help.

    All year long you will usually find Thomas there. In European winter season (Nov-Mar) my husband, our babyboy and myself have the freedom to stay in our paradise.

    We usually need help on weekdays. Weekends are off.

    Allgemein:
    Wir suchen Leute, die uns bei kleineren Heimwerkerprojekten helfen und sich um unser Haus kümmern. Wir benötigen Unterstützung beim Streichen von Wänden und Holz sowie bei der Gartenarbeit, die regelmäßige Pflege benötigt.

    Thomas ist in der Regel das ganze Jahr über da. Im europäischen Winter (November bis März) können mein Mann, unser kleiner Sohn und ich in unserem Paradies bleiben.

    Wir benötigen üblicherweise Hilfe an Wochentagen. Am Wochenende haben wir frei.

    We offer you our amazing guest cave. A very unique experience with a comfiy Stone House ans a simple but beautiful Outdoor kitchen.

    In Winter: Oct April
    We will place you on top of our mountain with a beautiful view over the valley.
    We have created a 4m diameter tipi-space there with electricity and a tiny terrace with an ocean view. You will have a cozy matress.
    You can use the outdoor kitchen and common space to prep your meals or chill out...or work remote with Wifi :)

    We share a toilet with shower & hot water and a washing machine.

    The place is not ready yet for small kids…unless they can handle heights and stairs.

    Im Sommer (Mai–September): Wir bieten Ihnen unsere einzigartige Gästehöhle. Ein gemütliches Steinhaus mit einer einfachen, aber schönen Außenküche erwartet Sie.

    Im Winter (Oktober–April): Wir bringen Sie auf unserem Berggipfel mit herrlichem Blick über das Tal unter. Dort erwartet Sie ein Tipi mit 4 m Durchmesser, Stromanschluss und einer kleinen Terrasse mit Meerblick. Eine bequeme Matratze steht Ihnen zur Verfügung. Nutzen Sie die Außenküche und den Gemeinschaftsraum, um Ihre Mahlzeiten zuzubereiten, zu entspannen oder dank WLAN remote zu arbeiten.

    Eine Toilette mit Dusche, Warmwasser und eine Waschmaschine stehen zur gemeinsamen Nutzung bereit.

    Für Kleinkinder ist die Unterkunft noch nicht geeignet, es sei denn, sie sind schwindelfrei und können Treppen steigen.

    There is a bus stop close to the house operating every 2 hours to the next small towns. It runs 8 times a day. See Google maps for actual schedules.

    Next supermarket is a 10min bus ride or 40min walk away in the next town: Santa Domingos.

    With the busses from the airport /port it will take you 3-4 hours and multiple changes.
