    Description

I have always enjoyed travel, exposure to new cultures and meeting people. I am well travelled and continue to travel when I can.

Now that I am settled in Vancouver with my 2 little dogs, I would like to stay connected to other travellers and offer my home for those wanting to explore the Vancouver area, BC and Canada. My son is well connected in the community and can provide ideas for things to do. He is onsite sometimes.

This is a beautiful city where you can go to the beach and the mountain on the same day. Around the province there is so much to offer. I am still exploring this wonderful area.

The projects will always allow lots of time to explore the area every day and have consecutive days of travel to the island, up north or to other parts of Canada.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

I am afro-indigenous and speak English and French (second language), have a few words and phrases in other languages. I am vegetarian and love to cook .

We live in a quiet tree lined neighbourhood with lot of parks and greenspace.

My son is well connected to exciting happenings in the area. I know the city and BC very well and can offer ideas for adventure.

My hope to provide insight into my two cultures as well as provide an overall in-depth experience of Vancouver and Canada. I have lived in various cities in Canada and travelled across the country multiple times. I am proud of our nation and would like to welcome guests. I sometimes have guests from other countries visit so there is an added bonus of interacting with other travellers and cultures, those who have also made a choice to vacation in Canada.

There may be other guests from other countries at times to expand interactions.

    Help

I work full time and have many small home projects and regular housekeeping, dog walking and garden related tasks. There is always something new and interesting to do around my house. Projects also include garden and outdoor care, room painting, stair refinishing project, door replacement, patio deck update, general indoor maintenance, setting up smart-home items and outdoor maintenance.

A good match would be a clean, tidy, handyperson(s) with some technology ability for random computer task and must love dogs.
