✩₊˚.⋆ "If there was one experience I would never wanna miss as a foreigner in Sweden - it's Näsåker" ⋆⁺₊✧

In the Magical North of Sweden, I recently bought the house of my dreams, where I am creating a sustainable and creative space with the help of friends and volunteers. I welcome people who want to share the experience of this mystical land, connect with mother nature, engage in a cultural exchange and grow together while contributing to the ongoing projects on the land.

The improvements have already started, but there's still a lot to do before everything is in place, and this is where I need help.

Come and stay with me; wander the deep lushious woods, swim in the waterfalls nearby, gaze at the stars at night and possibly experience the Northern Lights!

Let's have fun painting and polishing but also singing, dancing, drawing, picking blueberries, sun bathing or join in any of all the activities going on in the area.

My house is located in the woods about 10 minutes outside of a cute little town called Näsåker - and the area is filled with creative and wonderful people creating a lot of magic such as festivals and gatherings, parties, yoga, jam sessions, ceremonies, workshops, workouts, music recordings etc.
There is always something to do, and you are welcome to join us - this is the perfect place to experience Swedish nature, wildlife, culture, and simply have an amazing time!

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

My aspiration in life is to always go deeper and expand my experience of this world, myself and others. This is something I'd like for others as well, and I believe this is my way of doing that; By opening up a safe space where people from different cultures and backgrounds can come together as they are and share experiences, learn from one another, grow and expand. Here, I will try to give travellers the best pieces of what I feel have helped me to heal and grow in life, and hopefully, it will benefit my visitors too.

Besides my spiritual journey and the powerful location itself, I am also a certified stress counselor/health coach, continuously studying on the topic, and always happy to help others deal with their life balance, whenever possible.

As already mentioned, Näsåker is a place with a great community and cultural and spiritual vibe. There is always something going on and soo many inspiring, creative, open minded, wonderful people that will take you in with open arms and be happy to invite you to whatever event is going on in the area during your stay. Obviously, I will bring everyone interested along whenever I plan to attend some yoga, breathwork, ecstatic dance, concerts, workouts, jams or other types of activities that might pop up.

In August for example, there is a big folk music festival, Urkult, which brings around 10 000 visitors each year, and many more smaller festivals, gahterings and parties are going on all summer.

I'll be happy to share my best vegan cooking with guests, and there is also always some home made pastries and cookies in my home.

As an avid traveler, couchsurfer/host, and volunteering traveler for many years, I look forward to host people again, and create magic together!

Whatever you would be interested in doing on our little farm , I might need help with - so let's talk ✨

My vision is to build a haven for all sorts of people from all around the world, to come together and create something beautiful together, on the outside as well as whithin ourselves.

The idea is that everyone is working together, all having fun, and not killing ourselves in the process. There's always time for a dip in the nearby lake or the waterfalls!

There is so much to do here so I figure everyone can find a task they enjoy, is good at or want to learn! Whenever there's something I can't figure out how to handle myself, I will hire a professional from the village and then we could all learn from them.

So, in general, I need help with all types on diy tasks and carrying stuff that I can't carry myself haha.. but also gardening, crafting, decorating etc, just to name a few.

My plan is to create/renovate at least three lovely rooms with different vibe (The Lumber Cottage, The Shed, and the Barn Suite) which will be used as guest rooms for friends, family and volunteers.

The point is to always have people here, to create a space where people are always welcome to enjoy nature, partake in different activities that will be offered such as yoga, ceremonies etc. I am also excited about the thought of random projects, either something that I planned out or if guests come up with their own ideas of something they would like to create here. I have 7.5 acres of land ready for play!

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

Currently, there is one guest room ready. It's called The Core, and it's on the top floor in the main house, with the best view on the land.

There are plenty of extra mattresses so it fits a bunch of people, but take note that volunteers will have to share this room for now. We can always put some curtains etc up for privacy, but until the other guest rooms are ready, this is the situation.

    Food:
Sometimes we cook together but sometimes just do it separately, we will figure out what works best for each day.
I will provide porridge or overnight oats for breakfast, and vegan lunch+dinner.
Any non-vegan things you want, you need to bring yourself.
But please don't leave any animal products here when you leave, because they would go to waste 3

note: I am not fully vegan, and sometimes buy eggs from neighbours, or fish from the area etc., but I eat mostly vegan and find it easier to keep it that way with guests and volunteers so everyone can eat the same thing. I don't judge anyone for their choice of diet.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Car is needed to get to my house, or I pick you up in town (which is 10-13 min driving from my house)
I'm working on getting some bicycles for volunteers to borrow, so even people without car can get around the area easily.
