Description
Hello everyone! We are Alessandro and Alessia, a couple passionate about nature. We live in a beautiful rural area near the city of Monopoli, in Puglia. We have a dream: to transform our place into an agriturismo where good food and hospitality are based on principles of sustainability and respect for the land.
Our project is based on three key pillars: regenerative agriculture, sustainable dining, and authentic hospitality. We want to create an ecosystem where each element works in harmony to promote soil health, biodiversity, and the well-being of the community. The project has many goals to achieve: planting a food forest, creating a food garden with various types of flowers and vegetables, and preserving local traditions such as fermenting and food preservation.
We start by taking care of the land: we cultivate two hectares of olive trees, fruit trees, and vegetables. We regenerate the soil through the addition of organic matter and crop rotation, and we haven’t used chemicals on the land for over three years. We would like the products of this natural agriculture to delight the palates of our guests. We will use not only locally grown ingredients through regenerative farming methods, but also those from local producers who share our passion for sustainability, creating a network of collaborations that values the territory and its fruits.
It aims to be a place not just to stay and eat well, but an immersive experience in nature. For us, hospitality must also enhance the traditions, culture, and products of the region, and dining should be a way to create moments of conviviality and culture.
We are looking for people who want to work in an amazing countryside and has the good vibes to share with us good time too.
We are just a few kilometers from the seaside and only a 10-minute drive from the city center.
You would need a car to reach the place, and also campervan are very welcome to come too.

Accommodation
The volunteer will have a single room, sharing my flat. The house is quiet big, and the property has almost two hectares to enjoy. There is WiFi, kitchen and toilet with shower to share, have plenty of space for tends and few places for campervan. If necessary I will provide tents for who needs one.
