Hi there! I’m YC, a 24-year-old multilingual (Cantonese, Mandarin, English) enthusiast with a deep love for creativity, sustainability, and meaningful connections. I enjoy spending time in nature, making music, staying active, and learning everything life has to offer. I thrive on curiosity and hard work, and I’m eager to equip myself with new skills while volunteering. I am hoping to meet more friends around the world and gain different life experience through travelling and volunterring.

I have experience teaching languages and music to young children (18 months+) and adults, and I absolutely adore sharing knowledge and energy with others. As an outgoing, people-oriented person, I believe relationships are the heart of life. Travel, for me, is about gaining wisdom, spreading love in all forms, and embracing adventure with open arms.

I bring hands-on experience in teaching languages (Cantonese, Mandarin, English) and musical instruments to young children (18 months+), as well as nanny/childcare skills, patience, and creativity in engaging little minds. Physically strong and enthusiastic about labor work—whether it’s building, repairing, gardening, or outdoor projects, I don’t shy away from sun, rain, or hard work! Passionate about sustainability, I’m eager to learn eco-friendly practices like permaculture, upcycling, or renewable energy projects. With a background in psychology and counseling, I deeply value human (and animal!) connections, making me adaptable in caregiving, teamwork, or community-focused roles. Open to learning any skill!

Niki is a great host!! She has a busy schudule but tries her best to make sure I had a great time. She knows how to take care of people and is very welcoming.

YC could've stayed longer with us because we really like her around. She really helped us in many ways like being with our baby especially when we need it. She was very good with Lua.
