I stayed at Khalil and Albert's house for 2 weeks. I had a long, tiring journey through the north of Norway looking for whales. So my stay with Khalil was like a relaxing vacation. I rarely saw Albert, he is rarely at home. Khalil also works hard. If you are an independent person, this will not be a problem for you. They were both very kind and
… read more polite, often asking if I was okay. There is not much work in the house. Most of my work was cooking. The rest of the work is up to you and creative approach. The house is located in a good location, you can spend time in nature and the center of Oslo is also convenient to get to.
Thanks for the welcome Khalil! You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

I've been to Halil and Albert for a month, and surely finding the words to describe is not easy, but I want to try. Halil is the owner of the house, and also the head of the cafeteria where, in exchange for a free accommodation / room, I worked a couple of hours a day for free. But although he was the boss, he was always very polite, friendly and
… read more respectful, showing himself as a father figure to me, he is really a good person. And then Albert, well Albert is difficult to describe, because he is an extremely intelligent, respectful person, a person with a big heart, a person with whom you can talk about everything, he is really special, and he certainly does everything to make you feel guests like at home. There are not many people like Albert, and I feel very lucky to have met him. Furthermore, the accommodation, well my room was large, bright, and very quiet. I also had total independence, there were no time restrictions, etc. In addition, they lent me a great bike, where I could go not only to the cafeteria, but use it as and as I wanted, and this was very important because I was able to explore the city of Drammen and its surroundings in total freedom. Also near the house, 5 minutes on foot, there is a large shopping center where you can find everything you need. Near the house there is also the train station where it passes the train to Oslo directly every hour. So ultimately, I can really recommend these hosts, not only for the chance to get to know these special people, but also to stay for free in this villa in exchange for a couple of hours of work a day in this café, and live the experience extraordinary to spend time in this nearby city Oslo (Drammen), really wonderful and you will never forget. You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

It was sunny weather when she was staying in Drammen. So, we had a lot of time to go hiking, we went to different lakes and sea.
Paula, helped in the cafe, she never complained or did something wrong. The one who will be hosting her can definitely trust and rely on her.
Hope we stay nice friends and wish you all the best in your future adventures!Feedback
