    Description

We are an eco-village, a self-sustainable development project that seeks to protect the mountain territory of Abuzetkwa, creating eco-friendly alternatives to support Mother Earth, and generating a space for creation, recreation, evolution and development of the being through a healthy lifestyle in connection with the elements and to each other.

    Abuzetkwa:

A haven in the mountains where we have already made progress in restoring the water and land, land that was once considered "infertile" and is now fully restored and abundant, thus creating a space of harmony and balance for the environment and all who inhabit it.

Everyone who arrives will learn how to do the same by participating in activities to continue generating a self-sustaining ecosystem (greenhouse, gardens, water reservoir, fish ponds, composting, planting and maintenance of the forest, vegetable gardens, river recovery, conscious use of resources, bio-construction, development of a community that takes care of itself and each other, and so on).

We live in harmony, offering up the energy of the territory and its medicine.

This leads us to heal with the earth, while we recover it and make it a beautiful place to live and coexist, we heal ourselves by learning in community from Mother Earth, who is our greatest teacher!

At the moment we have many projects in development as everything is taking shape. We are working to create a water reservoir, a fish pond, a greenhouse, several vegetable gardens, a hostel, three cabins, and two houses; in addition to this we have some farm animals like goats, pigs and chickens that we have to take care of every day. We are next to a small river and the mountain has an incredible view of the valley. There are already several areas of the project that are already built which you can make use of such as the kitchen, dry toilets, the camping area, temazcal, and the orchards.
