Hello,
My name is Alexandre from the beautiful french Alps , i am living now in the North of Portugal for about 6 years to rebuilt an old stone house .
We achieved this goal after 5 years , thanks to the volunteers and the locals.
I am now working on making an orchard with permaculture beds on the land nearby.

The help I need is mainly to work in the garden .
Carrying dry wood log and branches for the bottom hills
Carrying leaves, green cutted grass, straw , horse manure with the wheelbarrow

Accommodation
I have 2 independent room at the ground level.
Independent bathroom, Kitchen, Wood stove and terrace.
I provide enough food for 3 meals per day, in exchange I would ask you 4 hours of work for 5 days per week
Smoking is not allowed outside the house
Please consider that I am living at 15 minutes drive from a little city, I is easyer to move and discover sights with a car

Vila nova de Cerveira is the closest city, every summer the Art biennial takes place.
From VNC, take a buse or train to Vigo or Porto. It is about 1 hour drive
You can go to the beach Ancora Beach by train from VNC
Starting at VNC, the ecovia followed the Minho river

he did the volunteer and he knows... working hours were amazing and he is very funny and generous!!
unfortunatly during my stay rain the most of the time and I could not appreciate it but the surroundind nature look fantastic
