Hello,
My name is Alexandre from France, i am living in a small village in the north of Portugal since 5 years, i rebuilt the roof of an old stone house and i am now working on making an orchard with vegetable garden and a dry toilet, i don't have a farm.

I’m searching for people to help me mainly in the garden. Filling the trenches with logs, leaves, grass, and straw to prepare new permaculture fields.
Collecting manure, ferns, wood, and straw at the horse farm nearby with the wheelbarrow and spray it on the existing permaculture 'beds
Weeding the greenhouse and seeding new plants, make tomato sticks
Take care of the green house , weeding, planting fall's vegetables
If you know how to put drywall and paint that would be great
I am working from home, i am not always available you have to an independent person

Accommodation
2 access to the house , one for the volunteer and one for me, you are independent
The room has a bed that is very comfortable, bathroom is to share with others volunteers (hot shower, heater and blankes )
The kitchen is in the shed , we all share
I provide 3 meals per day, in exchange for 4 hours of work for 5 days per week in the garden
Smoking not allowed in the room.

During your free time ,, you can visit the sea , surf in Ancora Beach, go to the hot spring water, bike the Ecovia alongside the Minho River, visit Porto, visit Galicia, go to the nearby climbing spot, visit Vigo, i sometimes share time with the volunteers as they need a car to travel around.

he did the volunteer and he knows... working hours were amazing and he is very funny and generous!!
