Description
We are a community of about 25 Germans and Austrians who moved to the Spanish Pyrenees over 20 years ago to share life in connection with nature. We live together like one big family, grow our own vegetables in two large gardens, run a farm with happy sheep, goats and bees and have small businesses. Most of us live on our property next to or on the farm, some live in villages nearby and join us during the day.
With our home-grown food, we prepare a delicious lunch every day for the whole community, which you can join.
Our main goal is to live peacefully and to treat each other, our animals and nature with mindfulness and respect, because we deeply believe that we are all connected in our hearts to a higher power, to each other and to all living beings. Even though we are all very different and have different views, we try to make decisions that everyone supports. When tensions and conflicts arise, we look for solutions for the benefit of all, and we want to support each other so that everyone can grow and thrive.
Our everyday language is German, so some basic knowledge of German is essential.Types of help and learning opportunities

We are a very warm-hearted group of different people and are always happy about an exchange on the different forms of living. We like to teach all the exciting parts about regenerative farming and living in connection with nature.
Help
We are looking for two Workawayers (couples are very welcome):
The tasks in our community cover different areas and are quite varied, depending on the season and the needs, and will be distributed according to interests and abilities.
1. We are always happy to have a helping hand on our farm and in our two large gardens.
On the farm you can help feed the animals, take them to the barn, help in the stable, etc.
We welcome help in our regenerative gardens with all the chores that go with it: preparing the planting beds, weeding, harvesting, composting, and more.
2. We make our own delicious cheese from our goat's milk and welcome help in our cheese dairy.
3. We sometimes have building and maintenance work around the house and are looking for someone who likes to be handy.
Our everyday language is German, so knowledge of German is very helpful.
We are happy about committed people who want to experience community life.
We are looking for Workawayers who stay for at least 4 – 8 weeks, as in our experience this is more fruitful for both sides.Languages spoken

Spanish: Intermediate

We have a large camping lawn next to our main house. Two of the caravans are very cozy accommodations for workawayers. On the same lawn we have a cozy wooden hut where you can use the bathroom and the newly installed kitchen.
As a workawayer you can use our food. We always have a lot of home-grown vegetables, our own cheese and organic meat and and home-baked bread. But also the normal stuff like pasta etc.
Every day for lunch we cook for the whole community. You are cordially invited to join in!What else ...
There are many beautiful hikes to explore in your free time as we live in the middle of the mountains at 1000m altitude. Half an hour by car is the closest little town which is called La Seu d'Urgell. Within one hour you can reach Andorra and many beautiful mountain villages.
There is little public transport, so it might be helpful (but not necessary) to bring your own car.A little more information
Internet access
Limited internet access
We have pets
We are smokers
Can host families

We have relatively good wifi in the house and a very good Lan connection in certain spaces. There is mobile connection around the whole area, but not always a good one.

There is plenty of space to park your campervan or motorhome. You are more than welcome on our camping lawn!
