  Description

  Hello! We are Dino and Amanda. We are a happy American family of five. We have three young children. We live in the magical Valley of Longevity--Vilcabamba, Ecuador.
  We have lived in Chile, Brazil, Paraguay, and now Ecuador here in South America. We mainly speak English in our home, but we are able to speak Spanish and some Portuguese. This is a place that is safe and surrounded by so much nature.

  We can definitely help you with your English if that is something you desire. Other ways you as a traveler will benefit from a cultural exchange is you will get to see how American vegetarians live and function as a family. You will learn additional cooking skills and I am sure through this experience your own worldview in many ways will expand.

  Help

  We are going to need help with tasks around the house such as cleaning and cooking vegetarian or vegan meals, and helping to occupy the children. We would also love for you to share your language with the children as well.

  We are a family of language learners! We love learning new languages. We are open to learning new things. We have also been teaching our children American Sign Language since they were babies and have loved seeing them sign with confidence.

  You will stay in your own private bedroom and have your own bathroom.
  The room has plenty of closet space
  
  We are a vegetarian family as we mentioned and expect this from you as well since we don't want cross-contamination with meat products. We we will share our vegetarian meals with you. You are also free to use the fridge in the kitchen to store your own food as well. But you will have access to all the basics like bulk things such as rice, beans, flour with which to make things, etc.

  There are bus stops in the area to help you get around if you'd like. There are things to do in the main city and also some natural attractions like waterfalls to visit in the area.
