  Hi! I’m Simona, a single mother of two living in Mallorca, Spain.I’m a friendly, open-minded and independent person who loves meeting people from different cultures. I work in photography and enjoy a creative, active lifestyle. Living in Mallorca gives us the chance to enjoy the sea, nature, beautiful beaches and the relaxed Mediterranean way of life.
  I’m looking for a Workawayer who would enjoy becoming part of our family life and spending time with my two children. For us, it’s not simply about getting help at home — it’s about sharing experiences, cultures and everyday life.
  My children would love meeting someone from another country, discovering a new culture and practicing languages. In return, I’d be happy to share our favourite places in Mallorca and help you discover the island beyond the typical tourist attractions.
  If you love sunshine, the sea, travelling, different cultures and a warm family atmosphere, you could have a wonderful experience with us. We would love to welcome someone responsible, positive and respectful who can feel at home while staying with us.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  Our home is a special place for a cultural exchange because the volunteer will have the opportunity to experience both Spanish and Italian culture and languages in everyday life. We are an international-minded family living in Mallorca, so they can enjoy a relaxed and friendly environment while discovering the island and its local traditions.
  
  I am a professional photographer, so one of the special experiences I can offer is a professional photo session on one of Mallorca’s beautiful beaches. It will be a great opportunity for the volunteer to have some beautiful memories of their time here, while also learning a little about photography and how a professional photoshoot works.
  
  During their free time, there will be many opportunities to explore Mallorca together. We love visiting local markets and discovering different places around the island. We can spend time at the beach, visit museums, explore the city and its surroundings, go on tours, or enjoy outdoor activities such as paddleboarding. For those who enjoy being active, Mallorca is also perfect for cycling, and there are many beautiful routes where the volunteer can go for long bike rides in their free time.
  
  We would also love to learn from our visitors. We are curious about different cultures, traditions, languages, food, and ways of life, and we would be happy to hear about their country and personal experiences. We believe that the best cultural exchange is based on sharing: they can learn from us and from life in Mallorca, while we can discover their culture, ideas and perspective.
  
  Our goal is for the volunteer to feel welcome, experience the local lifestyle, improve their language skills, discover the beauty of Mallorca, and leave with wonderful memories and a genuine cultural experience.

  Help

  I’m looking for a responsible, caring and reliable person to help me with our two children as part of our everyday family routine. The main tasks would include:
  
  * Picking the children up from school.
  * Taking them to their after-school activities and bringing them home.
  * Spending time with them, playing, helping with homework or keeping them company.
  * Helping with light household tasks, such as tidying up after meals and keeping the children’s areas organised.
  * Occasionally, helping with the children for a weekend when I have to work
  
  The ideal person would enjoy becoming part of our family while also having enough free time to explore Mallorca and enjoy their own experience on the island.
