  There is lots of work to do on my house and garden to make it even close to what I want it to be for mum and I, that's where I could really use some help. My ambition was to make this place a rest place for other carers to take be able to take a break... We shall see.

  I offer a comfortable stay with food from around the world, mostly organic and vegetarian though I am flexible. Perhaps we could learn some dishes from each other?
  You might want to join me for yoga 2 times per week and some mindfulness exercises.
  We will be talking in English and perhaps French about our lives and dreams and perhaps to look at what ways we can make ourselves and the world a little better.

  General garden tidying, weeding preparing the vegetable plot area for planting. Help moving furniture and doing general small DIY around the house like putting up shelves, some decorating and general housework.

  English (British version) is my first language and I am training to be an English language teacher, I would be happy to help others with their English. I also speak French fluently but need to improve and would appreciate practise. German is one that I'd like to learn too.

  Accommodation

  The areas of the house that are habitable are large. I have 2 adjoining guest rooms, a lounge and a bedroom on the ground floor, spacious and comfortable, waiting to host the next guest. It will take 2 of us about 1.5 hour's work to turn the lounge back in to that (at the moment it's also a storage room) At the moment there is only 1 bathroom for us to share (mum has her own bathroom). I would provide breakfast, lunch and a light supper though would be very happy to buy ingredients chosen by those coming to stay, especially if they'd like to join in the cooking. Because mum lives here I like to keep the atmosphere like a functioning family.

  What else ...

  I can offer 2 bicycles for cycling to the local town or other sights. I have a car and if you're willing to share fuel costs (it's an economic car) we can do more outings than I'd normally do. A lot of the "local" attractions and beaches are over 50km away and some would involve over 200km round trip. I don't mind the driving but I can't afford to cover all the fuel costs for something like that on a regular basis.I love driving but don't normally use the car for more than the essential and a little local socialising where I hope you'd join me.
