Physical help required in assisting to repair the farmhouse: completely rebuild a very simple farmhouse to be able to move there. Set up a summer kitchen, outdoor showers, compost toilet, preparing clay for the renovation. A stable for horses also needs to be built. And so many other things coming up in daily living and some new projects.
Our goal is to bring this place to life again. We invite you to build an ecological and spiritual farm with us. A place where we plan to organize plenty of projects (e.g.: yoga camp, retreat place, organic permaculture garden, programs to support physical and mental health, different workshops, trainings, horse therapy for children)
Accommodation is shared with other volunteers in a separate room. We offer three meals a day, including one hot meal.
We suggest to bring your sleeping bag and wellington boots.
The farm is 150 km from Budapest (cca. 1,5 hr by car and 2 hrs by train) and 13 km from the nearest town, Kiskunmajsa. Contact us with your travel schedule and we can help you to get here. There is a great spa in Kiskunmajsa (13 km). Shop 8 km. You can visit the architecturally significant Art Nouveau complex in Kecskemét (55 km), and Szeged, the third largest city in Hungary with beautiful sights is 33 km far.
