  Hello! My name is Alexandra and I live with my sweet 2 year old daughter in the peaceful seaside village of Apollonas, on the north side of Naxos island. Our home is simple, warm, and close to nature, just a few steps from the sea and surrounded by a quiet, friendly local community. We enjoy slow island living, spending time outdoors, cooking homemade meals, and keeping a calm daily rhythm. If you love the idea of experiencing authentic Greek family life in a small, beautiful village, we would be very happy to welcome you.

  This is a great opportunity to experience life in a traditional Greek island village, the local rhythm, customs and family life, homemade Greek food and fresh vegetables from our island, practising Greek if you want.
  You may also meet friendly neighbors and local people and you will have the chance to spend time near the sea every day.
  We love sharing our culture, stories, and the beauty of our island.
  You are welcome to join us in small outings, beach days, or a drive around the island when our schedule allows.

  Help

  We appreciate a few hours of help in the morning, mainly with playing and spending time with my little girl, helping with her morning routine or light household help.
  Nothing is strict, we follow a gentle, flexible rhythm.
  Your help will always feel like being part of the family.
  Hours: around 4-5 hours in the morning.
  Special note: You must enjoy being with young children.

  I’m always happy to learn new languages and share my own. If you’d like to practice Greek or help me improve my English, we can definitely include some language exchange in our daily routine. Plus, if the workawayer speaks already a few Greek will help a lot with my little girl as she doesnt speak engligh yet.

  Accommodation

  You will stay in your own private room in our home or in a separate guest house.
  It is a quiet, clean, and comfortable space where you can rest and enjoy your privacy.
  
  Meals are provided, mostly lunch, and we often use products from our island.
  You are welcome to join us in cooking or share your own recipes if you like.

  What else ...

  Naxos is easy to reach by ferry or plane from Athens.
  From Naxos Town (Chora), there is a daily bus to Apollonas.
  
  If you enjoy spending time with children, love simple living, and would like to join a kind and cozy family for a while, feel free to message me.
