    Description

We’re Simone, Joe, and our 7-year-old daughter, Eva. Originally from England, we spent years running a creative agency for live events and commercials in Buenos Aires before following our dream—building a retreat in beautiful Galicia.

Our vision is to create a home away from home for artists and creatives, a space where people can develop their practice while immersed in nature. We are not a business yet - we are still muddling through how we want to make this dream a reality - Over the past five years, we’ve been lovingly restoring an old farmhouse that will one day host 10 people. In the meantime, we organize all different types of workshops, weekly movement classes, and artistic residencies in our on-site studio.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Staying with us is a chance to experience life in a creative, international community while enjoying the beauty of Galicia.
The stuff we want to do around the garden will be an opportunity to learn about growing your own food and natural remedies while we experiment with how we want to become self surficient eating food off our land

You’re welcome to join any of the workshops or classes we organize for a discount —including the movement classes Simone teaches twice a week.

We will also cook you a good hearty lunch week days - You will need to provide your own breakfast and evening meal - And you will be left to your own devises at the week end

We’re pretty close to some of the best surfing beaches in Galicia and the Capelada nature reserve, which stretches along the highest cliffs in Europe—perfect for hiking and taking in the scenery.

You’ll get to meet a mix of Galicians and expats, many of whom share an interest in art, nature, and creative projects. It’s a great environment to practice English, Spanish, or Gallego - But there will also be plenty of opportunity to be in your own space where you can chill

    Help

We’re creating a medicinal plant area and a forest garden, and would love help bringing these to life.

We love exchanging ideas, so if you have experience with gardening, permaculture, or landscaping, super !!

Occasionally, we’ll need someone to look after our pets while we’re away. We have two dogs, two cats, four chickens, and two gerbils. They are all very lovely and very friendly - Joe is constantly working on projects around the house so may need a hand here and there with that

We are about a 10 min drive from a lovely little town called Cedeira that offers a beautiful chilled beach and all your amenities - It is essential that you come with your own car -
We hope for you to get a slice of our life here and of our projects, and the energy of the community we’re building
