Description
My name is Safae, I m from Morocco but i ve been living abroad for the past 15 years. I m really passionate about travels and cultural exchange but also meaningful humain connections. For that, i used to use workaway during my past travel and i had amazing encounters and experiences.
Now time came for me to gave birth to my own projects, or at lease concretise a heartfelt dream we had we my mother : turning our countryside house into a retreat center that nurtures rest, creativity and reconnection.
Morocco was always the place i came back for reconnexion and harmony, that's why i want to share this glims of serenity with all the people in need through this project. All my family contribute in this project :my dad and I help with the construction part, my mom and sisters with decorations and space harmony
But before we can open our doors, we need helping hands: to build, decorate, design cozy corners, pick fruits, cook together, and co-create something beautiful.
We’re looking for kind, open-minded, hands-on volunteers who accept simple and meaningful living and want to be part of creating something AMAZING haha , well, hopefully it will soon be ready to welcome people seeking peace, inspiration, and authenticity.
Come join us—help us build a dream that is bigger than ourselves.Types of help and learning opportunities

Construction & Building: From small fixes to more solid tasks like building walls, fences, or renovating outdoor spaces. If you're handy and enjoy working with tools, we’d love your support!
Gardening & Land Work: Cleaning the land, planting, watering, and helping with fruit or olive harvests (seasonal).
Decoration & Creative Projects: Making handmade lampshades, cozy corners, upcycled furniture, or painting murals—we welcome all artistic energy.
Painting & Artistic Workshops: We plan to host small creative sessions and would love for you to participate—or even lead one, if you’re inspired.
Cleaning & Organizing: Helping keep shared spaces tidy as we move forward with the renovation.
Social Media & Communication: Taking photos, helping us build our Instagram or website, or writing little stories to share the evolution of the project.
Language Exchange: Want to practice your French or Darija? We’d love to improve our English or Spanish, too. Casual exchange or more structured—whatever works.
Cooking Together: We share one daily meal—usually cooked together—and if you’re interested, we’ll teach you how to prepare simple traditional Moroccan dishes like tajines, soups, or homemade bread.
We’re also developing a small artisan brand
The idea is to create and sell homemade products like: Seasonal jams and preserves; Infused oils or herbs; Natural handmade items that reflect our land and culture

The house is surrounded by agricultural field. It's mostly quiet, peaceful. It's perfect for those who love being outdoors or taking quiet breaks. It’s a safe and respectful environment, and we hope to keep it positive and inspiring for everyone involved. You’ll stay in one of two shared rooms, each hosting 2 to 3 Workawayers. The rooms are clean, simple, and safe, with basic but cozy bedding. We also provide sheets, blankets, and pillows—you don’t need to bring anything.
There’s one shared bathroom for volunteers, kept clean and functional.
Food:
We offer one home-cooked meal per day, usually shared together at lunch or dinner, and we all help a bit with prep or cleaning.
You’ll have access to the kitchen to prepare your own meals. We often cook traditional Moroccan dishes, and if you’re interested, we’d love to teach you! What else ...
During your time off, you'll have plenty of space to relax, read, create, or enjoy the peaceful nature around the house. It’s a great place to disconnect or focus on personal projects too
The house is located in the countryside, so it’s calm and rural, with the nearest town reachable by shared taxis or hitchhike. We’re happy to help with directions or organize rides when possible. If you’d like to explore other parts of Morocco on weekends , we can help with tips and transport info. Fes and meknes are 2h drive from the house and rabat only 1h.
This is a shared, evolving space, and we ask everyone to help keep it respectful. Here's what to keep in mind:
- Please help us keep the space clean and comfortable for everyone
- We don’t smoke inside the house, but you're welcome to smoke outdoors
- You’re free to enjoy your own drinks or snacks, as long as it's done with care and respect
- Occasionally, small gatherings or music nights are welcome—as long as we stay respectful of the space and others’ rest
We encourage openness, kindness, and shared responsibility in daily life
Beside helping us at the different tasks you will have freedom to explore and get to know the rythms of morocco
