  My name is Aide, and I proudly call Caraz, Ancash, Peru, my home, where I reside with my two wonderful children. Nestled in the mountains, our city offers exciting activities like biking, hiking, and sightseeing, our region offers something for everyone. As a volunteer, you'll have the unique opportunity to participate in various tasks around the house, immersing yourself in our delightful experience.   As a workawayer, you'll have access to incredible adventure activities and will be able to immerse yourself in the local culture, interacting with the warm-hearted people of Caraz. Enhance your Spanish speaking skills, savor Peruvian cuisine, and even learn to cook local dishes if you wish. Explore the city's main tourist attractions and delight in the opportunity to expand your horizons. We provide food (2 times a day) and comfortable housing to ensure you have an unforgettable experience with us.

  Help

  We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to assist us in teaching English and helping with school homework for the children. Additionally, your assistance may be needed for house maintenance, gardening, organizing tour equipment, and community-oriented projects. Your dedication will make a lasting impact on the lives of both the children and our vibrant community. Come be a part of this rewarding experience!

  We will provide 2 meals: breakfast and lunch (except Sundays)
  You'll have two days to explore the area at your leisure, and Sundays are your "free day" with breakfast exclusively.

  Welcome to Caraz, Ancash, Peru, nestled 2256mt above sea level, surrounded by majestic mountains. Within just 2 hours, you can explore numerous enchanting destinations like lagoons and glaciers.
  
  During your volunteering stay, we kindly request that you follow our house rules, including mindful water consumption and energy-saving practices. The housing is provided free of cost for the duration of your volunteering experience. If you decide to extend your stay as a tourist, you can do so, with a daily fee similar to a regular hostel/hotel.
