    Description

Hello! I’m Raimundo, and I manage this beautiful 300-hectare farm located near Chillán, with the small town of Bulnes nearby. We bought the farm four years ago, and now have 250 hectares dedicated to walnut orchards and 50 hectares for animals, a vegetable garden, and various fruit trees.

We’re home to a variety of animals, including dogs, sheep, cows, and 22 horses. The horses roam freely, and some are trained for riding while others are still in training. We also have some horses that are suitable for beginner riders, though there is no instructor available. If you have significant experience with horses, there may be opportunities to work with and train young horses, depending on availability.

Our farm includes several accommodations: a large house primarily for the owner and visiting family, my home, and a dedicated house for volunteers and trainees.

    About Me
I’ve been living in this region for four years, and I’m passionate about adventure sports like climbing, kitesurfing, paragliding, motorcycling, biking, kayaking, trekking, and swimming. This place is perfect for exploring and enjoying nature, while still having good access to larger cities by car, bus, and even train.

    What We Offer
    Cultural Exchange and Learning Opportunities
Volunteering here means experiencing a wide range of tasks, from animal care to eco-projects and construction. You’ll have the opportunity to learn new skills like gardening, horse care, and general farm maintenance. The local community is very welcoming, and there are always chances to learn from each other and share your own culture.

  • Help

    Help

There is always a lot to do - it is a big farm. We have a lot of workers who work in different parts (construction, wood, fields, machines, agriculture, garden, animals...) and can always use help. If you have any knowledge it would be much appreciated - but if not that is not a problem - you can learn and work in the field you are interested in.
The animal care is important with special care of the horses, they need more attention to be ridden and cared for. At the moment we have different young horses in need of training, and few old ones to go ride safe around when you want - if you know about horses and want to work with them, that would be a great help.

It is important to mention that the volunteer should be self-responsible and intiative, as I am mostly busy in the day and responsible for a lot of people.
