💛 JOIN A SINGLE MOM AND HER DAUGHTER'S FAMILY IN THE HEART OF BARCELONA 💛
🖐 About Us:
Hi! I am Justyna, and I’m a solo mother to Nina, who is 4.5 years old. We live in the Sants-Montjuic district in Barcelona, near the city centre, in a 3-bedroom apartment. We are looking for a great au pair to join our little family for February and March with possibility of prolonging. Probation period: 2 weeks.
What We Offer:
😊 Own spacious room with a double bed, desk, and a heater in a well-maintained apartment close to the city centre.
😊 Food: Basic, healthy, low on meat. Our freezer is always full of ready-to-heat meals that I make by myself in bulk, as well as cakes and bread. We provide basic products for you to prepare your own breakfast, teas, or snacks or cook some other meal you like. You will not be responsible for cooking for the family but you can cook in your free time.
😊 Free mornings and free time during the day Monday-Wednesday until 6 pm, and until 4:30 pm on Thursdays and Fridays. Minimum 2 free days a week.
😊 Easy-to-understand schedule of work and responsibilities in Google Calendar.
📖 About Nina:
Nina is an open and communicative child who is quite easy to work with. She loves attention and play and is rather well-behaved. She has her own room, where she usually plays. She goes to school from Monday to Wednesday from 9:00 am to 6 pm; on Thursday, she leaves at 16:30 and starts her swimming pool class at 17:15. On Fridays, she finishes school at 16:30. Nina speaks English, Polish, Spanish, and Catalan.
After school, she plays in her room, takes a shower, and eats dinner around 7:30 pm. She has to be put to bed at 8:30 pm.
Weekends:
Twice a month, I go to the mountains.
Our Expectations:
I’m looking for a girl more than 22 years old. You need to be able to maintain her daily routine on her own: bring her from school, give some free time while you heat up the dinner, shower, have dinner with her, put her to bed, and play audiobooks until she falls asleep, clean after dinner and shower. You have to truly love kids and enjoy the experience.
Be very well organized and super clean, taking care of our house as if it were yours. Have a positive and happy attitude. Healthy lifestyle. Ready to work hard and put your heart into the work. Preferable native language: English, Polish, Spanish. You should have a plan for what you will do in your free time during the day outside of the house. You cannot: be a smoker, have dogs, be a couple, have a party lifestyle.

Help
Responsibilities:
👩👧 Looking after Nina on the weekends (stay at home, bring her to the playground, give meals, shower, put to bed) and in the 3 evenings of the week between 4:30 or 6 pm and 9:00 pm (bring Nina from school, approx 10 min walk, play, dinner, shower, reading books and putting her to bed).
🏫 Take Nina to the swimming pool class on Thursdays at 16:30 till 18:30.
🏫 Keep the house very, very clean and help in deep cleaning.

We have many amazing libraries around that you can go to for studying. There is also a free circus training group in our neighborhood that you can join. Great public transport. Barcelona is always plenty of activities. Just check up the Meet Up platform and you will find plenty of things to do. There are always many language courses available and some of them are free, like catalan courses.
