We are a small eco minded accommodation on the quiet and beautiful island of Saba, a part of the Dutch Caribbean. I run it with mimimal staff because of the size and the limited tourism on our island. Saba - known as the Unspoiled Queen of the Caribbean - is a quaint little island known for it's diving and hiking as well as for it's traditional cottage architecture.

I need help with all daily tasks: kitchen, housekeeping, gardening, maintenance, bookings. Most of the administrative work is done by us, so the majority of the volunteer work is housekeeping and gardening. Anybody with some proper maintenance skills is always very welcome!

We eat together most nights, it's appreciated if you also cook sometimes. I'm not vegetarian, so if you are, food needs to be cooked seperate for you and me... which I'm not willing to do. You will have your own room with private bathroom and terrace. I'm planning to put some more shelfs, a small hotplate and some cooking utensils in the room, but that project hasn't reached the top of the list yet ;-)

I prefer to have a single volunteer, but I might consider a couple.

    What else ...

Great opportunity to spend some time on a beautiful Caribbean island with great hiking and diving possibilities. You will meet loads of cool people, both guests, other people working on Saba and the locals. Saba truly is a very friendly island.

Since volunteering is regarded as work by the immigration department and the tax office, I can only work with volunteers that hold a Dutch or a US passport. Volunteering without a working permit for any other nationalities is illegal and on a small island like Saba it's not likely to go unnoticed.

I will only respond to requests that are directed at us specifically, generic requests that are send to all hosts in The Caribbean will not receive a response.
