Description
We are originally from Belgium and Ireland, have travelled a lot and being volunteers and hosts ourselves, we both share a passion for nature, practising permaculture, landscaping and reforming the finca.
Our land, 4 hectares of hillside is located right next to the national park in the heart of the Sierra de las Nieves. We are situated in a quiet little green valley with a stream at the bottom of the plot. Tolox, the nearest village can be reached in an easy 25 minute walk downhill.
We are off grid, solar powered, have natural spring water available and a water deposit/ pool.
We share our place with 5 cats and 8 hens and a small dog.Types of help and learning opportunities

Help
Right now we need help with olive picking and some gardening maintenance. We are looking for fit energetic people, interested in healthy and sustainable living in nature.
We have some construction and renovation plans lined up as well, so skills in those areas could come in very handy.Languages spoken

Accomodation will be a small bedroom in the house.
We also have big bell tents for longer stays when the weather is fine. An outdoor shower and compost toilet are available.
We are vegetarian, mostly vegan and value a clean eating diet, meaning we mostly eat seasonal veggies and fruits from the garden. We love cooking fusion and world cuisine.
3 meals a day are included, lunch and dinner we prep and eat together. What else ...
Since the National park is just at our doorstep, this is perfect for anyone who likes nature, hiking, climbing, MTB, there are lots of trails around the area.
Tolox is on walking distance and is a cosy white village tucked away in the mountains. With a few shops, bars and a museum.
Round September each year ArtTolox is organised, a weekend that brings artists to Tolox who paint on walls in the street.
There are busses from Tolox and Alozaina (which is 15minutes away) to Malaga 3 times a day

Can host digital nomads
Digital nomads are welcome if they have their own internet connection. We work through our data connection on our phone which works fine.
