  🇬🇧 Hello! We are an Italian-French family, a couple of 37 and 39 years old, a designer and an engineer, and a gorgeous boy two 1/2 years old, very active, curious, and friendly. We live in a beautiful house with a garden, olive trees and a swimming pool in the countryside of Umbria, next to a citadel called Amelia (1.30 hrs from Rome, where we often go...)
  
  🇫🇷 Salut ! Nous sommes une famille italo-française, un couple de 37 et 39 ans, un designer et un programmateur, avec un adorable garçon de deux ans et demi, très actif, curieux et amical. Nous vivons dans une belle maison avec un jardin, des oliviers et une piscine à la campagne en Ombrie, à côté d'une citadelle appelée Amelia (à 1h30 de Rome, où nous allons souvent...).
  
  🇮🇹 Ciao! Siamo una famiglia italo-francese, una coppia di 37 e 39 anni, un designer e un ingegnere, con un bellissimo bambino di due anni e mezzo, molto attivo, curioso e amichevole. Viviamo in una splendida casa con giardino, ulivi e una piscina in campagna in Umbria, vicino a una cittadina chiamata Amelia (a 1h30 da Roma, dove andiamo spesso...).

  If you love art and history, in your free time, we will encourage you to visit Rome, Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto, Narni, Todi and all the smaller villages in the region.
  
  The people of this area are friendly, kind and curious about foreign people. If you want to practice Italian, you will definitely find a way! We speak Italian and French at home.
  
  🇫🇷 Si vous aimez la nature, vous pourrez vous immerger dans un contexte authentique, dans l'une des plus belles régions vallonnées d'Italie.
  
  Si vous aimez l'art et l'histoire, pendant votre temps libre, nous vous encouragerons à visiter Rome, Pérouse, Assise, Orvieto, Narni, Todi et tous les petits villages de la région.
  
  Les habitants de cette région sont amicaux, gentils et curieux des étrangers. Si vous souhaitez pratiquer l’italien, vous trouverez certainement un moyen ! Nous parlons italien et français à la maison.
  
  🇮🇹 Se ami la natura, potrai immergerti in un contesto genuino, in una delle più belle regioni collinari di Italia.
  
  Se ami l'arte e la storia, nel tuo tempo libero, ti incoraggeremo a visitare Roma, Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto, Narni, Todi e tutti i più piccoli borghi della regione.
  
  Le persone di questa zona sono cordiali, gentili e incuriosite dalle persone straniere. Se vorrai praticare l'italiano, troverai sicuramente un modo! Noi a casa parliamo Italiano e Francese.

  Help

  🇬🇧 this year, we will host workawayers for the first time, providing independent accommodation in exchange for help to improve our home and our garden.
  
  Tasks may range from easy DIY ones.......:
  - enhancing a Pergola (stripping out the existing wattle and replacing it)
  - painting: Refresh the walls with a new coat of paint
  - Installing Shelves / assembling furniture
  - Installing lamps
  - cleaning/managing the pool
  - maintaining or pruning the garden
  - planting new plants
  - installing a wood deck outdoors
  
  
  .......To more complex Building / Landscaping ones: (if we find people comfortable undertaking them!)
  - strengthen a concrete wall
  - finish fencing the garden
  - install a new gazebo / pergola
  - repaint Wooden Shutters:
  
  ... and more!
  
  To join us, you'll need a car / driving license so that you can go around.

  🇫🇷 Cette année, nous accueillerons des bénévoles Workaway pour la première fois, en fournissant un logement indépendant en échange d'aide pour améliorer notre maison et notre jardin.
  
  Les tâches peuvent aller de travaux de bricolage simples... :
  - améliorer une pergola (déposer l'osier existant et le remplacer)
  - peinture : rafraîchir les murs avec une nouvelle couche de peinture
  - installer des étagères / monter des meubles
  - installer des lampes
  - nettoyer/gérer la piscine
  - entretenir ou tailler le jardin
  - planter de nouvelles plantes
  - installer une terrasse en bois en extérieur
  
  ... à des travaux de construction ou d'aménagement paysager plus complexes (si nous trouvons des personnes à l'aise pour les entreprendre !) :
  - renforcer un mur en béton
  - terminer la clôture du jardin
  - installer une nouvelle tonnelle / pergola
  - repeindre des volets en bois
  
  ... et bien plus encore !
  
  Pour nous rejoindre, vous aurez besoin d'une voiture / d'un permis de conduire pour pouvoir vous déplacer.

  🇮🇹 Quest'anno, ospiteremo per la prima volta volontari Workaway, offrendo alloggio indipendente in cambio di aiuto per migliorare la nostra casa e il nostro giardino.
  
  I compiti possono variare da semplici lavori fai-da-te...:
  - migliorare una pergola (rimuovere la copertura esistente e sostituirla)
  - pittura: rinfrescare le pareti con un nuovo strato di vernice
  - installare mensole / montare mobili
  - installare lampade
  - pulire/gestire la piscina
  - mantenere o potare il giardino
  - piantare nuove piante
  - installare un deck in legno all'aperto
  
  ... a compiti di costruzione o paesaggistica più complessi (se troveremo persone che se la sentono di svolgerli!):
  - rinforzare un muro in cemento
  - completare la recinzione del giardino
  - installare un nuovo gazebo/pergola
  - ridipingere delle persiane in Legno
  
  
  ... e molto altro ancora!

  THE LOCATION
  🇬🇧 We're in Amelia, a few kilometers from the ancient villages and among the typical green hills of Umbria. We often go to Rome, where we have a pied-a-terre that you can use too.
  
  🇫🇷 On est à Amelia, à quelques kilomètres de l'anciens villages et parmi les collines verdoyantes typiques de l'Ombrie. On va souvent à Rome, où on a un pied-à-terre que tu pourras utiliser aussi.
  
  🇮🇹 Siamo ad Amelia, a pochi chilometri dall'antico borgo e tra le tipiche verdi colline umbre. Andiamo spesso a Roma, dove abbiamo un pied-à-terre che potrai usare anche tu.
  
  THE HOUSE
  🇬🇧 We are in a large house with a swimming pool, in a beautiful and calm landscape. You'll live in a separate depandance.
  
  🇫🇷 On est dans une grande maison avec piscine, dans un paysage beau et calme. Tu auras ton appartement dans la dépandance.
  
  🇮🇹 Siamo in una grande casa con piscina, in un paesaggio bellissimo e tranquillo. Avrai a disposizione la dépandance indipendente.

  🇬🇧 We both work fully remotely: at home, we have a 5G connection and high-speed satellite internet. You'll have your own desk area in your room, we can share the printer. 🇫🇷 On travaille en "Full remote" les deux: chez nous, nous avons la 5G et l’Internet haut débit par satellite. Vous disposerez de votre propre espace bureau dans votre chambre, nous pouvons partager l'imprimante. 🇮🇹 Entrambi lavoriamo completamente da remoto: a casa abbiamo il 5G e Internet satellitare ad alta velocità. Avrai una scrivania nella tua stanza, e se serve possiamo condividere la stampante.
