We can also host a van in our parking area

    What we offer:

    Wifi
    Laundry facilities
    Busy & fun family life
Lots of treats in the pantry
    Comfortable house, clean & tidy
Peaceful property you can kayak or fish from
    Home grown fruit

    OR
4 days on, 3 days off, 5 hours help per day

It is general gardening such as, tidying over grown gardens, trimming bushes & picking up green waste
Sometimes; It’s not easy work, so fit strong & self motivated people are a must
Painting / staining wood & decking

We live in Kerikeri on a 7acre lifestyle block close to town. We have awesome views of the Kerikeri Inlet
We have a large extended family that we see often, so you will meet many other local people & get to experience the way NZ families live & share meals & family time together. We also have a lovely man who is from the Phillipines on working visa who lives with us for 1.5 years.

In our spare time we enjoy relaxing, fishing & kayaking both which we can do from our place, going to the beach or just spending time with family. Our son plays rugby & our daughter likes arts.

We would really love some self motivated people who can go about the work on their own. There will be days where we do work all together as a team, depending on our work schedule.

We need help with removing pest trees, using a weedeater, pulling weeds & trimming trees & shrubs.
We need people who are physically fit & can endure hard work, sometimes, it is not easy gardening! It is outside in the sun, wind & sometimes the rain. Some of the plants you will be dealing with are very prickly, Such as gorse & blackberry

We also like our workawayers to participate in making dinner, cleaning up after dinner, doing dishes & tidying up after themselves. Keeping their space neat & tidy & helping out to keep the household, like collecting wood or lighting the fire, taking rubbish out etc. We all live together so we like to be a team where everyone helps out!
