  Hello I'm 55 years old and have been working in agriculture since I was sixteen. I manage 36 ha of meadows, fields and forest. I also have a dairy farm with 27 cows. Milk processing takes place externally. The daily work on my farm is very versatile. From stable work to forestry, everything is represented.
  
  Hallo bin ein 55 Jahre alter Landwirtschaftlicher Facharbeiter und arbeite seit meinem sechszehnten Lebensjahr in der Landwirtschaft. Auf dem leben noch meine Mutter und eine Hofhelferin, die aber nicht immer anwesend ist. Ich bewirtschafte 36 ha Wiesen, Acker und Wald. Des weiteren habe ich eine Milchwirtschaft mit 27 Kühen. Die Milchverarbeitung findet extern statt. Das tägliche arbeiten auf meinem Hof ist sehr vielseitig. Von Stallarbeit bis Waldarbeit ist alles vertreten.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  With me you can learn a lot about life and daily work in the countryside. Furthermore, one can get to know a natural way of life. The stable work is also on the plan every day, which means you can learn a lot when dealing with animals. In the spring one deals with me at the farm mainly with the management of the fields, which means that one can learn much about the sowing and soil care.
  In addition, you can learn a lot about the traditional Austrian way of life with me. In your free time, you can explore the breathtaking landscape in the area.
  
  Bei mir kann man viel über das Leben und die täglichen Arbeiten am Land lernen. Des weiteren kann man eine naturnahe Lebensweise kennen lernen. Täglich steht auch die Stallarbeit am Plan, das heißt man kann viel im Umgang mit Tieren lernen. Im Frühjahr beschäftigt man sich bei mir am Hof hauptsächlich mit der Bewirtschaftung der Felder, dass bedeutet das man viel über die Aussaat und Bodenpflege erfahren kann.
  Außerdem kann man bei mir viel über die traditionelle österreichische Lebensweise lernen. In der eurer Freizeit könnt ihr die atemberaubende Landschaft in der Umgebung erkundschaften.

  Help

  I needed help with the forest and stable work. In addition, I would be glad about a few helping hands in the household. The tasks varie according to the season. In the spring you help a lot in the fields. In summer, the harvest takes place and in winter, the care of the animals in the foreground.
  
  Ich bräuchte Hilfe bei der Wald und Stallarbeit. Außerdem würde ich mich über ein paar helfende Hände im Haushalt freuen. Die Arbeit schwankt je nach Jahreszeit. Im Frühjahr arbeitet man viel auf den Feldern. Im Sommer findet die Ernte statt und im Winter steht die Versorgung der Tiere im Vordergrund.

  There is a private bedroom with a shower. Cooking and food usually take place together.
  
  Zur Verfügung steht ein eigenes Schlafzimmer mit Dusche. Kochen und Essen findet meistens gemeinsam statt.
