Description
This is a beautiful little social sustanable agro tourisme Homestay on the island of Koh Rong Samloem in Cambodia .
The place is a run by local familiy and they need help in customers services due to their poor level in English.
Koh Rong Samloem is a gorgeous island covered largely by tropical jungle with pristine white sand beaches along its coast. It is a rich ecosystem with many different plants and animals. There is crystal clear water all along our bay and lovely coral that is perfect for snorkelling.
We are dedicated to preserve the island’s ecosystem and try to maintain sustainable practices as much as we can. We compost all food waste, and have a waste water system in place. We recycle everything we can, and try to avoid the use of plastic as much as possible. Since all electricity on the island is from diesel powered generators, we only run electricity 8:00-10:00am and 6:30-10:00pm. We have numerous solar panels and use a converter to offer device charging and wifi in the main area of our ecolodge. The wifi is limited, so it’s not the ideal place for internet lovers; and volunteers should know we have 1 dog- 2 cats all very friendly.
If you are a yoga teacher, we would love to have you in our team. We have just created a beautiful jungle shalla, where we offer yoga class every morning 10-11am. We are looking for volunteers- yogini, who are committed, hard working, open minded, positive and independent.
Since it is a relatively small ecolodge your tasks may change from day to day depending on what is needed. We are always open to new suggestions and perspectives and will work with you to find the best use of your time here. We expect that you take the work seriously and hope that it proves an experience that contributes to your personal growth.

Help
We are looking for energetic, responsible and self-motivated yogoni who have the ability to do things independently and manage their time effectively. Interested about yoga, healthy lifestyle and Previous experience in some form of customer service is preferred and a significant advantage. Our ecolodge is a relaxed environment and we do not give set volunteering hours, the time you help will be dictated by the tasks required and we need people who are comfortable and capable in this working environment. You will help closely with other volunteers and Khmer staff, thus teamwork and communication are important as well.
There families living and work there from poor country side need hospitality service training and English language teaching.
2 women for cooking and cleaning . 1 men for boat driver , maintenance.
We believe there is a difference between volunteering and working. Coming here is about the experience you will gain and the positive impact you can have for our ecolodge in a relatively short period of time. You won’t need to spend a single dollar while you stay with us - all the essentials are covered (please read the accommodation section for more information on this or meals); We want to make sure you have time to explore, relax and enjoy the island while you stay with us too!
We require workawayers to stay and contribute for a firm minimum of 2 full weeks. Ideally we would like great volunteers to be able to stay for 1 to 3 months.Languages spoken

Volunteers will be housed in shared accommodation with three meals a day provided, as well as drinking water, tea and coffee. We take turns cooking for each other, which will be part of your work time.
