🌿 About Me
Hi! My name is Charmaine, I’m an active and social person who loves outdoor activities, sports, and meeting new people from around the world. I’m always up for new experiences and enjoy creating a lively and positive atmosphere around me. I also rescued a cat, so if you love animals, you’ll have a furry friend to hang out with too!
I’ve done a lot of traveling and community work, so I really enjoy cultural exchange and learning from others. Hosting Workawayers is my way of connecting with people and sharing daily life here in Québec
🏡 Where I live
I live in a spacious two-storey house in St-Zotique, a calm town just 2 minutes from Highway 20 and about 25 minutes from Montréal. The house has two bathrooms, a big backyard, and lots of space to relax. The neighborhood is quiet but close to the lake, nature, and local shops. It’s the perfect mix of peaceful surroundings and easy access to the city.

I’m the owner of a charming home located in a peaceful neighborhood in St-Zotique, just 25 minutes from the Island of Montreal, and only 2 minutes away from a beach, grocery stores, and other amenities.
I travel frequently, sometimes for two weeks per month or even longer. I’m looking for a trustworthy and caring person to look after my home and animals while I’m away.
🏠 The house
You’ll stay in a fully furnished private bedroom, with access to two bathrooms, two living rooms, and a kitchen shared with two other tenants.
The outdoor space includes a backyard and a pool, both available for your use. There are also walking trails nearby, perfect for enjoying the natural surroundings.
🐾 The animals
Two very affectionate cats who love human company. They need food, clean litter, and most of all—lots of cuddles and attention.
Two dogs (only occasionally at home): When they are here, they’ll need daily walks, food, water, and plenty of affection. You will be notified in advance if the dogs will be present during your stay.
🧹 Main responsibilities
Regular light cleaning and general house upkeep
Outdoor maintenance: mowing the lawn in summer, shoveling the driveway in winter (if needed)
Watering plants
Notifying me of any issues or concerns with the house
Taking care of the animals as if they were your own ❤️

Use of my vehicle while I’m away (details to be discussed — you’ll know the dates of my absence ahead of time)

Bonjour !
Je suis la propriétaire d’une charmante maison située dans un quartier paisible de St-Zotique, à seulement 25 minutes de l’île de Montréal, et à 2 minutes d'une plage, d'épiceries et de plusieurs commodités.
Je suis souvent absente pour le travail ou les voyages, parfois pour deux semaines par mois, et parfois plus longtemps. Je cherche donc une personne de confiance pour prendre soin de ma maison et de mes animaux pendant mes absences.
🏠 La maison
Vous séjournerez dans une chambre entièrement aménagée, avec accès à deux salles de bain, deux salons et une cuisine à partager avec deux autres locataires.
L’extérieur comprend une cour agréable et une piscine, accessibles librement. Il y a également des sentiers de promenade à proximité pour profiter de la nature.
🐾 Les animaux
2 chats adorables et très affectueux : ils adorent la compagnie humaine. Il faudra leur donner à manger, changer leur litière, et surtout, leur offrir beaucoup d’amour et de câlins.
2 chiens (présents occasionnellement) : lorsqu’ils sont là, ils demandent de l’attention, des câlins, des promenades (au moins une par jour), ainsi que de l’eau et de la nourriture. Vous serez prévenu(e) à l’avance si les chiens restent à la maison pendant mon absence.
🧹 Tâches principales
Entretien de la maison : ménage léger et régulier
Entretien extérieur : tondre la pelouse en été, pelleter l’entrée en hiver si nécessaire
Arroser les plantes
Aviser le propriétaire en cas de problème ou besoin de réparation
S’occuper des animaux comme s’ils étaient les vôtres ❤️
