    Description

    Hi!
Our house is on a quiet road in Charlevoix, about 12 kilometres from Baie-St-Paul. Dozens of hiking trails are around. I live with Pierre, my husband, and together we are coming back from a one-year bike trip in Africa and there is lots to do!
Pulling weeds, cleaning the outside of the house and building a smokeless fire pit are part of our summer plan. We share the house with Sally the black cat. We eat everything.

Bonjour!

In our small village Pierre's family arrived 12 generations ago from France and they have thrived between mountain and sea. His dad is a former sailor on the St. Lawrence River and now operates a sugar shack with his wife. There is lots to learn there.
Pierre and I have traveled on our bicycles all over the world since 1990 and love to share and learn about people's lives.

Our yard needs some TLC! Weeds are taking over our thyme cover. We have a power hose to clean the outside buildings. I have a plan to build a simple smokeless fire pit. We work together 2-3 hours a day.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

There is a private room with a queen bed. The bathroom is just across the hall.
We don't have a special diet and the fridge is filled with fresh ingredients. Breakfast and lunch is simple and self serve but for dinner we like to prepare a meal and sit around the table to talk. The kitchen is well equipped and we have a propane bbq on the deck to cook on the flame.
