    Description

We live on a small farm, which is a part-time activity and involves a small number of cattle, including some breeding rare-breed highland cows. Based 11 kilometres from Limerick city, we would be looking for help with some farm tasks, gardening and general activities around the land.
We're located close to a local village, and there are many local activities that visitors and tourists can enjoy. The river Shannon and Castleconnell village are both close by, and people can experience the local culture and various sporting and leisure activities.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

There is a local village and a great river close by - great for walks and good pub fun in the evening. It's a quiet area, 11 kms from the city, where the nightlife is much more active, with fantastic pubs and restaurants, historic castles, regular sporting and music events.
There are bus services to the nearest city, and it can be possible to get a lift from someone if they're planning to drive on some days.
Limerick is 2 hours from Dublin, and around 90 minutes from both Galway and Cork - so good for weekend trips to see other cities if you want to.
