Robert, Christa, Charles, and Rocky pup pup were the best hosts ever!
We had a great time exploring the beautiful coast around here and going on an adventures. Robert is a really nice, genuine, and absolutely hilarious guy and it is a blast to work with him. We lived in the thatched cottage which was very comfortable.

I stayed at Christa and Charles' back in 2018 and had a great time there! My job mainly consisted of cleaning the rooms, the common spaces, making beds and preparing the table for breakfast once the guests had left. The work was rather light, which gave me plenty of time to explore the surroundings and walk on the beach. With respect to the

I shared meals with Christa and Charles, had some very interesting discussions with them, and even got to meet their son, Rob, who I ended up going on a trip to Norway with. I only have great memories of my time there, which sometimes play back in my head and instantaneously warm up my heart. I wish you all the best, Christa, Charles and Rob!You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Charles, Christa and Robbie made me very welcome and I got a wonderful taste of rural life in a beautiful part of the world. They are very laid back..... The scenery around the shore and house is breathtaking. If you have a car then this would be an advantage giving you more opportunity to explore the surrounding area.

My first experience with Workaway couldn't be better! I spendt 8 days with this beautiful family; Christa, Charles and their son Robert made me feel at home. They are caring, kind and lovely, the place is charming and peaceful. They helped me to improve my language skills and we enjoyed a lot of interesting conversations, also with some Italian

So far, voluntering in the hotel has been my best workaway expierience !
Charles and Christa are lovely, kind and attentive. They drove me to places where I could hike (Knocknarea, Glencar) or see something interesting (Sligo, Strandhill, Drumcliff). I had long walks on the beach (which is just 5 min walks from the hotel =D) with Calie the dog.
… read more I've cycled from Sligo to and around the hotel. I've had plenty of free time to enjoy the beatiful countryside =) I had the chance to be there for Easter so we did a chocolate egg hunt which was a lot of fun !
The work is basic and simple. I helped cleaning the rooms (and/or cottages) and doing the beds, helped with the dishes, set the table for the breafast. I also worked in the garden one time. I had a cottae with all the accomodations : shower, kitchen ... So you have your intimacy but you can share enxcellent meals and good conversation with Charles and Christa =)
I've enjoyed my time here and I really recommend this voluntering !You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

We decided to stay one week in Christa and Charles' house and finally we made like one month, so you can understand how we felt good in there. Accommodation was exceptional, we had independency and plenty of space for our luggage, we could cook with very good Irish products and we enjoyed a lot of interesting conversations with both of them in

Around the amazing house, we could enjoy a lot of kilometres of beautiful and quiet shore and they also carried us by car to some of the places which begin the highlight of our trip. Work was easy and well explained and both of them were very patient with our English. Thanks again Christa and Charles from Vanessa and me.
We really recommend this house to the community of workawayers ;)You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

This lovely place was my first stop on my journey through Ireland. Everyday was filled with new adventures and new people to meet. The family itself is what makes this place memorable though. Charles is very wise an entertaining. Christa is very caring an adventurous. And the kids are alright I guess ;). I highly recommend a working holiday
