  Description

  We are a family of 5 living on a small lifestyle block 10 mins from Raglan town. We have vege gardens, chickens, an orchard, a sweet cat, a couple of lovely flatmates who live in tiny houses, and 3 fun-loving boys! Having your own transport is important as we are 15 mins drive to the beach, 10 mins to the town. Couples welcome!

  We have all spent a lot of time travelling and love meeting new people, talking, playing music, etc. We enjoy eating good food and sharing cuisines and recipes from around the world. Our boys love to interact and play and can be quite energetic at times! We are a busy family, and while we love sharing meals and time together in the evenings, we are often quite busy during the daytime with our work. We are hoping to find people who are open to spending time with us as a family, and who are also fine enjoying their own space.

  Help

  The helpon our property is varied and can be adapted to suit your skill and interest. Practical outdoor skills, gardening help. Spring on our property this year could involve: preparing garden beds for planting, fixing chicken fences, light building maintenance (sanding, painting), planting, mulching, weed-eating.

  We will provide lunch and dinners (breakfast being your own responsibility) and accommodation in exchange for 4 hours work per day (this can be negotiated if you want a day off etc). We are looking for people (preferably a couple) who are self-responsible, honest and reliable, and who enjoying being with people in community. We prefer non-smokers and people who are able to both socialise and integrate with our community as well as being self-contained and independent.
