Description
My name is Mario, I am 67 years old, I am married and I have three sons and a daughter. My wife lives in El Bolsón. We live in separate houses, which does not mean that we do not live together. I have a farm of approximately one and a half hectares. I am retired and I dedicate myself to carpentry (in addition to working as a carpenter I teach carpentry) I am working all day on it.
Clarification: the teaching of carpentry is not intended for volunteers for reasons of security and time. It is possible that at some point and for a particular job we should always use the machines under my strict supervision and advice, never alone.

Mi nombre es Mario, tengo 69 años, estoy casado y tengo tres hijos y una hija . Mi señora vive en El Bolsón. Vivimos en casa separadas lo que no quiere decir que no vivamos juntos. Tengo una chacra de aproximadamente una hectárea y media. Soy Jubilado y me dedico a la carpintería (además de trabajar de carpintero enseño carpintería) estoy todo el día trabajando en ella.
Aclaración: la enseñanza de carpintería no esta destinada a los voluntarios por razones de seguridad y tiempo. Es posible que en alguna oportunidad y por algún trabajo en especial debamos utilizar las maquinas siempre bajo mi estricta vigilancia y asesoramiento, nunca solos.

The tasks to be carried out as an exchange are:

All this in a surface slightly larger than one hectare of which a large sector is reserved for the natural evolution of the area.

Todo esto en una superficie algo mayor a una hectárea de la cual un amplio sector está reservado a la evolución natural de la zona.

Tengo ademas un colchón de dos plazas (solo uno) y solo una carpa para 4 personas (solo una, no puede llevarse fuera de la chacra). Si no tienen carpa y/o colchón deben consultar si están disponibles, si no tuenen carpa y usan la que está disponible en la chacra deben estar dispuestos a compartirla.

The number of visitors can be more than two.
Working hours are 3 per day, Monday to Thursday from 9 to 12. In exceptional cases, the work schedule can be modified.
In exchange, in addition to what is described under accommodation, I offer a daily breakfast for each volunteer. For breakfast, there are infusions such as tea, yerba mate, and milk. Bread is baked on the farm by the volunteers. Jam is available if there is fruit to make it (during the months of March and April).
There are buses for transportation to all the places mentioned, although depending on the relationship we build and my work availability, I can drive you.
I don't sleep at the farm every night, so with the necessary precautions, you will have the use of the house.
The prohibitions are not making fires in unauthorized areas and not consuming alcohol or other addictive substances while on the farm. These conditions are non-negotiable and will result in the termination of the relationship. Initially, we can agree on 15 days and see how things go. Obviously, you can leave whenever you want.
My response time is two to three days because there is no internet where I am.
A little more about me...
I like music, I play the guitar (more or less), I sing (or at least I try), I play the bass drum, and I grow some flowers, herbs, a small vegetable garden, and native trees.
For now, I only have two cats and some wild birds that stay on the property, and some come to eat from my hand. The property is densely populated with mostly native trees and some exotic ones, although they belong to the Valdivian rainforest and are encroaching.
The house is similar to a mountain refuge and is under construction, although it is habitable; I live there. The area, considered rural, is near the town of Lago Puelo (1.5 km), in the Chubut province of Argentine Patagonia, surrounded by mountains and the Valdivian Rainforest. It is one of the last remaining areas of this type of rainforest in the world, shared only with Chile and New Zealand. The climate is mild, with winters being neither too cold nor too hot in summer. The rivers and lakes are suitable for swimming and canoeing, and fishing is either catch and release or limited depending on the location. More and more people are coming to enjoy this area. There is a vibrant nightlife in the region, which includes the towns of El Bolsón (10 km), El Hoyo (10 km), Epuyén (35 km), and this town. It is also close to Bariloche (120 km), Cholila, El Maitén, Gualajina (home to Piedra Parada, a popular climbing destination for people from all over the world), and Esquel (known for the La Hoya ski resort).

Las horas de trabajo son 3 por día, de lunes a jueves de 9 a 12. En caso excepcional, se puede modificar la organización del trabajo.
A cambio ofrezco, ademas de lo descripto en alojamiento, un desayuno diario para cada voluntario. Para el desayuno hay infusiones como te, yerba mate y leche. Pan horneado en la en la chacra hecho por los voluntarios. Dulce si hay frutas para cosechar y hacerlo.
Hay colectivos para el transporte hacia todos los lugares mencionados, aunque según la relación que construyamos y mis posibilidades laborales, puedo llevarlos.
No duermo todas las noches en la chacra, así que con los cuidados necesarios van a disponer de la vivienda.
Las prohibiciones son no hacer fuego en lugares no permitidos y no consumir alcohol u otras sustancias que produzcan adicción mientras permanezcan en la chacra y estas condiciones son inquebrantables y factor de ruptura de la relación.
Inicialmente podemos pactar 15 días y evaluar con nos va, obviamente pueden irse cuando lo deseen.

Algo más sobre mi...
Me gusta la música, toco la guitarra -más o menos- canto - o por lo menos lo intente- toco el bombo y cultivo algo de flores, aromáticas, un poco de huerta y arboles nativos.
Por ahora solos tengo dos gatos y algunos pájaros silvestres que permanecen en la chacra y algunos se acercan a comer de la mano. La chacra está densamente poblada de árboles nativos la mayoría y algunos exóticos pertenecientes a la selva Valdiviana.
LA CASA ES PARECIDA A UN REFUGIO DE MONTAÑA Y ESTÁ EN CONSTRUCCIÓN AUNQUE ESTÁ HABITABLE, YO VIVO AHÍ.
El lugar, considerado rural, está cercano a la población que se llama Lago Puelo (1.5km), en la provincia del Chubut en la patagonia argentina, rodeados de montañas y selva fría llamada Selva Valdiviana. Uno de los últimos reductos mundiales de éste tipo de selva, compartido solamente con Chile y Nueva Zelandia. Tiene un clima que no es muy frío en invierno ni muy caluroso en verano.Los ríos y lagos son aprovechables para la natación y el canotaje, hay pesca con devolución obligatoria o con cantidad limitada de extracción dependiendo del lugar. Cada vez viene más gente a disfrutar de este lugar.
Hay amplia actividad nocturna en la comarca, que incluye la localidad de El Bolsón (10km), El Hoyo (10km), Epuyén (35km) y esta localidad y está cercana a Bariloche (120Km), Cholila, El Maitén, Gualajina (Piedra Parada a donde concurren escaladores de todo el mundo) y Esquel (conocida por el centro de esquí La Hoya.

La chacra, como ya dije, tiene más de una hectárea y además les ofrezco el baño y la cocina. Asi que bienvenidos, en este caso puede concurrir una familia de no más de cuatro integrantes sin perro o con perro obediente porque tengo gatos.

Depende de las mascotas. Perros solamente si son adiestrados porque tengo gatos y hay pájaros salvajes que a los perros les encantan correr y no quiero que se vayan por su presencia.
