Description
Hello all! I live in a house with 4 other people, all around 25 yrs old, in Seattle. We are in the Ravenna neighborhood in a house with a nice backyard, a wood stove, and a kitchen that is sunny in the late afternoon and evening.
We have all sorts of crazy huge ideas about starting a co-op and a company and a business and a bike shop and a pasta making factory, but in reality, we just like dabbling in everything and having a good time with each other. We really love biking, cooking, listening to music, more biking, drinking beer, more biking, and probably some more biking. We bike everywhere.
As for our project, we imagine it being a lot like ourselves - quite scattered. More concretely, we do have a small garden out back that needs to be weeded, we also have a basement that has an enormous amount of potential to be a great hang out spot/venue/bike shop, and we would love some help cleaning it up and making it somewhere fun to hang out. Additionally, we dislike spending money, but we also dislike cooking food for while we are at work, so we are looking for people who enjoy cooking.
Overall, we see this as an opportunity to meet you, show you the city of Seattle, impart all of our viewpoints on you, and not have to make lunch for ourselves. We are, for the most part, easy going and fun to be around, although we can be somewhat obnoxious, so if that sounds good to you, we would love to hear from you!
As for your sleeping situation, we have a spare queen sized bed in the upstairs area. It is not entirely private, as two people that live in the room next to you would have to walk through it to get to their room, but maybe your first project could be to set up a screened off area to sleep and have privacy when you want it. Definitely an opportunity to get creative.
We are excited to meet you!Types of help and learning opportunities

Well we have absolutely no problem imparting our points of view on anyone - so you will definitely benefit from that :). But all jokes aside, we all hail from all around the country, and have had a lot of unique experiences and would love to show everyone the city of Seattle by bicycle. You will definitely get an interesting peak into a communal living environment and will have a lot of fun in doing so!
